Very simple question:
If a decker does a matrix search... does he have access to his hacking pool?

I've always run it as no. Matrix searches use the skill Computers (Search Operations) and not Computers (Decking). Since Hacking Pool is used while decking, it is -- therefore -- not used for search operations. But that's the logical response, so the opposite might be canon.
