maeel ... you do realize that book owners are not entirely likely to do a major listing of the "Adept Powers" you are requesting, just as they aren't likely to do a listing of vehicles.

I can say this for you however;

4 Motorcycles/Scooters
4 Cars
1 Truck (GMC Bulldog)
1 Hovertruck
3 Military/Security (Car, Hovercraft, RCV)
3 Boats/Subs (Yacht, Sport, Minisub)
1 Winged Plane (C750)
3 Rotorcraft (Dragon, Stallion, Wasp)
2 VTOL/STOL (Banshee, FB Commuter)
12 Drones (2 Micro, 2 Mini, 2 Small, 3 Medium, 3 Large... of which the Lynx is a "Large" and the Skimmer is a "Micro")

There has been examples of Spellcasting in other forums, I've seen them.

All the PhysAd abilities:
19 in total .. all of which are either in the old BBB, 2063/64 or MITS.

Scatter Rules still exist, and are for the most part as far as I can tell basically the same thing. It is for some reason easier for me to relate to however, and after 12 some-odd plus years of SR I guess that says something.

Marvin the Mage has a Magic Attribute of 5 and a Spellcasting of 5. This means he rolls 10 dice on his spellcasting. He selects Sam the SecGuard as his target for the Stunbolt. He decides to go for a Force 5 Stunbolt, mostly because he's a wuss when it comes to drain and doesn't like overcasting.

On his spellcasting roll, he gets 4 hits, just above the expected average. It's his lucky day, I guess. Sam the SecGuard has a Willpower of 3 and doesn't have any Counterspelling to protect him as spell defense, so he rolls 1 hit on his resistance test (about average that he can expect).

Now we figure out the damage. The base DV is equal to the Force of the spell, which is 5. You add the net hits, which is 4 - 1 = 3 hits, thus doing 8 points of Stun damage. Since Sam the SecGuard has 10 Stun boxes (willpower of 3), he's 2 boxes away from being Knocked out.

Finally, we figure out drain. The drain for a Stunbolt is Force/2 (round down) - 1, which in this case will be a DV of 1 measly point. Marvin the Mage rolls his Willpower + Logic (being a Hermetic), which in this case is 4 + 4, or 8. He easily gets the 1 hit he needs to reduce the drain down to nothing.

Now, if he had not been such a wuss and went for the full tamale overcasting, he could have cast a Force 7 Stunbolt, and using the above example would probably knock the guard out (3 net hits) and still not take Drain (2 DV physical). Or if he feels that he absolutely needs to knock out the guard, he could go for a 9 Force Stunbolt (just below his max of 10), and guarantee a knockout, while taking 3 DV physical drain (probably reduced down to 0 or 1 boxes).

Mystic armor is really cheap in SR 4... 0.5 for 1pt of ballistic *and* impact?

I can already see munchkin troll adepts with huge bodies and 20+ B/I armor at chargen.

I think I'll call him "Panzer"

Wouldn't Mystic Armor cap at Magic rating like most other adept powers?

Yeah, importing sucks. I feel the pain whenever I buy something from Europe and have it shipped over here to the States. ;)

Speaking of the PDF index, I glaced it over and was unhappy to see the term Decker appeared a total of zero times. I may have just missed it, if so correct me, but if not do they even mention Deckers in 4th ed.

Well, but they mentiond the Hacker on Site 19 and 206.

Maybe the Decker`s will be discussed there or maybe in the history part of the Book?

I assume so. 6/6 is still more than a decent armo[u]r bonus though. (The u's in bracket because I couldn't decide whether to include it or not. :P Languages are a wonderfully non-standard thing.)

My group called him "Shield" over the weekend. Unfortunately, another character had a critical glitch and he was hit with full auto in the back from friendly fire. Didn't die, but made him realize that he's still vulnerable, which was pretty much my point, anyway :vegm:

Nope. Decking is an obsolete term and is replaced entirely by hacking. Thus, it's not in the index. The word iteself might appear in the text somewhere but as there are no rules for decking anymore, it doesn't require an index entry.

Like Dash said, decker is a term used only in context now. So I wouldn't really consider it an error.
