So, for those who purchased the SR4 PDF, can you tell us how is the new equipment?
Is it a lot more Sci-Fi? Do we see nice technological improvements? What about the essence and :nuyen: cost? I know that the maximum money a SR4 character can have in the beginning is 250k... What can you purchase for that amount? Is there now, full cyber body including torso, head and the four limbs? |

The the technological advancement up to 2070 is clearly visible in the available equipment. It's not uncyberpunky SciFi though. I really like it.
Essence cost for cyber mostly stayed the same. Bioware costs now essence, no bioindex anymore. Nuyen cost of most items is MUCH lower. Especially cyberlimbs and wired reflexes are cheap now. So for your 250.000 :nuyen: you get everything you like. The availability of cyberskulls is too high to buy one at start. The rest is no problem. But that was already possible in 3rd edition if you really wanted to. |
