Well I have come across a couple of references to some underground world below seattle, now i'm not talking about the Orc underground.
One refence was that i know is some new drug " a fungi" is being circulated and i know there are a couple of refences in other books " I don't have my books because one of my players have borrowed them,
Any Idea's my fellow dumpshockers?

If i had my books i'd have more details but the Mushroom thing is from man and machine or Underworld source.
Wow I have even stumped ancient History and all these refences are in 3rd ed books.

The basic idea of the Seattle underground is based on the actual underground portion of the old city. Full info is

There are various hints throughout the SR/ED universe that there is a "world under the ground," however its extent is unknown. For example, Earthroot's domain was a massive underground complex that included the Tree of Life (I think, it's been a while since I read that book) was contained. And we know the Tree still exists, since the dragons and IE's are bickering over its guardianship in Dragons of the Sixth World. Plus there's all the old dwarven mines and kaers.
So yes, there is an underground world, however I think it is much less extensive (and much less weird) than, say, the Underdark of the Forgotten Realms.

The Fungi thing is from Mob War - it's one of the adventures and relates to the stock-standard "a new drug has hit the streets, twice as deadly as ever other" runs.
Other than that, I have no idea what you're talking about.

I think you're potentially reading too much into some references, as opposed to stumping AH.

Living in Seattle I've actually done the tour (play tourist in your own town some time, it's actually kind of fun) it's fun but not all that impressive. Also a great many of the tunnels don't connect to anything and only run a block or two.
That being said if you wanted to create a Secret Society that ran Tunnel Boring Machines between abandoned mine shafts, cold war era Bunkers, missle silos, etc. for some nefarious purpose you could probably have quite the strange campaign.
