There are two specalized adapts that I think will come into more use in the shadowrun world in the 2070's--astral perception adapts and single spell adapts--The two I can think of now are either in the military or criminology fields or in ultra-low mana areas like space???
Any thoughts on this???

in SR3 you could have aspected magicians that could only handle a certain element, ie fire... could only summon fire elementals and use combat spells.
etc.
You can make one more specialised if you want with current rules, would just have to house rule it as to advantages.

It be though with the new rules but not impossible to do a single elemental adapt
Hell if I could find a way to do it I'd want a Total hermeatic PysAd
Maybe start as a regular mage and be allowed to buy PhsyAd Magic With New Magic Points
About the only way to do a Phsyical Magican These Days (Maybe)
Or just split the magic points at Character Creation Like a Regular Magician's Path Adapt

The other point about specalized adapts I wanted to make is in space an Astral-perception adapt COULD maybe be very useful in A: Finding Alien ManaSpheres/ManaPockets while not being as debilitated by ManaVoids B: If there is any Alien life it must have an astral signature?-even if it is a very strange astral signature; This could be Very Important if any of the Alien Life is Hostile (Just think of Sigorney Weaver Style Aliens)

An astral perception adept would be extremely cheap: 5 points for the Adept quality. 0 points spent on magic (because this starts at 1 for free) and you buy Astral Perception as an adept power. It would be super karma expensive to raise your powers to anything useful later, of course.

5 BP for the astral perception power is nice.
never being able to use any cyberware or bioware as a result kinda hurts though, unless you are going to boost that magic score to high enough levels to do something with it.
