You must be kidding.

[ Spoiler ]
Threading: 8 dice -> 5 hits
expected average is 2.67, 5 is highly above the average.
Fading: 9 dice -> 3 hits
expected average is 3.0, 3 is a direct hit.
Exploit: 13 dice -> 3 hits
expected average is 4.33, 3 is below the average (but enough to succeed).
Threading: 8 dice -> 2 hits
expected average is 2.67, 2 is barely below the average.
Fading: 9 dice -> 4 hits
expected average is 3.0, 4 is above the average.
Stealth: 10 dice -> 6 hits
expected average is 3.33, 6 is highly above the average.
Stealth: 3 dice -> 1 hit
expected average is 1.0, 1 is, once again, a direct hit (and the only roll, that didn't beat the necessary Threshold, not counting the Fading vs DV 5 roll here, but that came rather expected, when Reggie isn't really trained in Infiltration).
In total you had an expected average of 20 hits and you got a total of 24 hits.That's
not bad!!

So, be happy about your good rolls already and use EDGE! on that Stealth Test!

Doh! I looked at the rolls and thought 'where the heck has he seen the two hits there!?' then realized, that you linked to the page, which initiatites *new* dice rolls.

These should link to the rolls you meant (don't click the above links, they will just add more rolls to the invisiblecastle database

):

I could spend Edge as Thanee suggested, but by the rules - since I didn't declare it in my roll, I shouldn't be allowed it.... so I'll let me roll stand.
Looking forward to seeing how the action rolls out. Looks like Alastor got tied up again, he's been quiet for about a week...

You can spend Edge after the roll, too. It just works differently.

Or just let the roll stand... I'm fine either way.

Apr 5 2007, 02:25 PM
With or without the +3 bonus? Need to make Perception tests?
I'll just make all rolls, pick what's appropriate.

Perception (visual)
2 hitsPerception (hearing)
5 hitsInitiative (surprise)
2 hits +3 bonus
0 hitsOk, not that it really matters, whether the bonus counts or not...

EDIT: Using Edge on the Surprise Test sounds like a plan, actually, since she is using it after the roll, I will re-roll all non-hits (also re-rolled the potential bonus dice, of course).

Here's the summary for the Surprise Test:
Initiative (surprise)
2 hits + Edge
4 hits +3 bonus
0 hits + Edge
1 hitIn total that makes 6 hits on the Surprise Test for Felice (or 7 if the +3 bonus counts).Bye

Okay, stage one complete, couldn't be arsed to make you roll for a comabt that was a sure fire win.
You have two chauffeur's uniforms, one should fit Clarke, the other is on a dwarf and while it would fit Felice across the shoulders...
I'll need a Logic+Auto Mechanics from someone for you modifications.
Thanee
Apr 8 2007, 10:40 AM
When there are no other uniforms somewhere in a locker,
Felice will look to mix and match her own clothes with the dwarf's (as said in an earlier post, she has some of her own clothes with her for that occastion precisely, something that is as close to the uniform as was available

)... maybe look for a way to detach patches and such and attach them on her own suit. Shouldn't be hard to get a needle and some thread either, if necessary.

You get to reroll that 6, too, since you used Edge.

BTW, if you want to spend Edge on a roll (prior to rolling) like this, you can put 8d6.open(6) (or 8 rolls of 1d6.open(6), if you prefer them to be displayed in rows) instead of just 8d6 in at invisible castle, it will reroll all 6s automatically then. Quite nifty.

Someone's post-happy tonight!

Glad to see this run's rounding to it's end... And I got to add in one of my new toys in the final post. My fly-spy's are nice, but they hardly move fast enough to follow a car in traffic... the roto-drone is going to be a nice tool in the future.

With the cash in hand from this run, Reg is going to look at increasing lifestyle up to middle, and maybe get a gym membership to help tone up a bit more.
Not knowing much about the housing situation in Denver, I figure it should take, what, 2-3 weeks to find a decent place?
Let me know what you think.

Now having pre-paid 4 months of lifestyle... nah, I'll just leave that as it is and pay for a new lifestyle... call it collateral for my continued interest in the garage.

Which I'll probably spend many days at working on any bikes that come in...
Time to find a new place, pack and move... I figure the first 10 days, so I'll play it out like that. I'm going to take a shot at one of those all-inclusive condo-complexes that have a gym and pool on site... that is if there are any left that haven't been completely taken over by the corps. Otherwise I'll comb through some of the sourcedata and come up with something interesting.
Now that I'm done my rambling....

Thats cool with me, the best non mega owned stuff is in the Pueblo sector, where quite a bit is government owned, but in an at arms length type set up.
Dranem
Apr 16 2007, 12:05 PM
Ummm.... Buying into Pueblo PCC, there's something Reg never would have thought of... So I guess I'll be finding a nice flat in Edgewater close to Golden. Being anglo, it would be safer to reside in a area where I'm not the least common-denominator.
Also if I hedge along the northern edge, close to Arvada, then there'll be less security concerns... particularly in assessing new tenants.
Now lets see if a Rating 4 fake SIN from Seattle can past through the building's ID-screening process. Seeing as using Reg's birth-SIN may raise a few eyebrows and create a lot of questions.
Paying hard nuyen for rent up-front will hopefully grease some palms to make things go a little smoother.

Well, with all the computer work that Reg has been doing, I was debating submersion, but instead went for increasing my Electronics group by 1 point. Let me know if you feel that Reg might need any courses for such and the cost in nuyen/time said increase should incur.
Outside of a new pad to live in, Reg hasn't sorted out any new expenses yet. But might had a mod or two to the roto-drone.
