For anyone that may be interested, I'll be hosting little drop-games in my channel on EsperNet. I'm just looking for people that would like to play. I have only two stipulations for players and characters.

1. I would like to have players that prefer ROLEplay over ROLLplay. (For those of you who don't understand the difference, this means that I would like players that know how to play their characters - interacting with other characters and the world around them, giving their characters LIFE rather than letting them remain stats on a sheet.)

2. Characters of any kind are allowed, provided they were built in Shadowrun 4th Edition format and they aren't of the 'godlike power' variety. For those wishing to build a new character for this, I'll take any character builds up to 500 BP, +/- 25 Quality cap.

For those interested, the game channel is #Shadowland on server irc.esper.net, any time on weekends (which includes right now!) and after 6 PM EST on weekdays (except Thursdays).

just out of curiousity, what.."format" are you aiming for? i'm assuming it's more of a ",living world" set up, correct?

Yes and no...what happens in one game will not necessarily have an impact on later games. What I' really looking for is players that actually participte in the game, interacting with the other players and GM, rather than just sitting there, waiting for their turn to be called to roll dice or say what they're going to do.
