This thread is for players and GMs to share their (mis)adventures in SRM02-04 Thrash the Body Electric with the dumpshock community. The adventure is currently available to Commandos and Conventions. It should be posting to the srrpg.com web site in early June.

Readers should be forwarned -- this thread will be spoiler laden.

Either my english has gone from "pretty okay" to "me not understand, me sorry" or I really don't understand this "Fencing the Loot" section at p. 14.

Does these values mean the whole value of the shipment or just one type of products value? And shippings are all a bit different, but it's very hard to tell which of them is more valuable than other. And these prices are the starting values from where the fencing 30% will be taken, BUT at the bottom they are talking about used price of 50K for trucks. Now, is this the real fencing value for the trucks or is it about 30% of 50K (~ 15K)?

This is really not the only section that gives me grey hairs. I must admit, my players would love this adventure (with so less limitations), but either I'm just stupid or really tired now, but I don't like this mission at all. ohplease.gif

Hmm, OK, re-reading the section.

Well, the first part of the sentence refers to the retail value of the "raw material deliveries." So, that's the total value for an incoming truckload. The second part of the sentence refers to "finished product shipments," so that means a total value for an outgoing truckload.

Both of these figures are fairly broad ranges. And, the exact value is up to your discretion as a GM.

Refer to the Street Costs chart on P303. A truck of that caliber would retail new for a little more than 60KĄ. We knocked the 20% penalty off from the Street Costs chart and rounded to 50K, before calculating the fencing price. So, they'd sell it for c. 15K, give or take on a negotiation roll.

If you have other questions, feel free to ask, and I'll try to clarify.
