This forum doesn't allow [img] tags, and automatically puts [url] tags over anything that begins with http:// and shortens the visible link if it's particularly long.

hmm, figures.
maybe they should have it strip out those img tags to then, so that we dont get errors like the one above (having to manualy edit the url before visiting it.
or better yet, have it just replace the img tags with url tags...

The only problem is that it doesn't automatically put [url] tags on urls, even if they've got http:// on, if they're already inside [img]s.
Seriously though, how many times in the history of this forum have you seen someone trying to use [img] tags? Twice? Thrice?

mfb
Jun 17 2006, 03:51 PM
isn't sending a team of Ghosts against your character, and having the Ghosts' first action be painting a laser sight on said character's forehead--isn't that something like the complete polar opposite of immortalizing your character?
also, +2 karma for humor.

Goodness that thread is up to 218 pages, but is now badly in need of some editing and abridgement. It is significantly lacking in drop bears I might ad.

And some may say that the lack of drop bears is a Very Good Thing. Keep your mental masturbation to yourselves, thank you.
