Is there any way to move the SSG forum & similar to an easier to find location? I've found it now but I really needed to delve into the depths of the forums. Why not just have those topics like they were before; As a separate section on the main page?

Would it be hard to move it up a couple of levels? Perhaps I'm just used to the old style of forums but I think they are a bit too far out of the way. You won't get people thinking "I have some comments on that" and posting in the forum unless they are specifically looking for the SSG forum. Otherwise they'd probably just post in the shadowrun forum that they reach first.
Just my opinion

I second this. Maybe a single New Releases Forum on the front page between Runs & Run Ideas and Community Projects? Currently both the Dragons and SSG Forums are too out of the way IMHO

As I've said before, I don't like the nested folders. Getting to the SSG forum takes multiple clicks from the front page, and that's /if/ you know where to find it.
I understand that the admins want to keep the front page vertically smaller, but I simply don't think this will effectively promote the book forums or the books themselves.
Is there some other logic for the nested forums that I'm missing? Quite frankly, I'm at a loss; nested forums are very uncommon, and I don't see why the admins here would want to go against conventional forum/web logic by deeply burying some of the most relevant and time sensitive forums.

Perhaps add a 5th category to the discussion block which is for the recent and upcoming releases which could have the subcategories under it? At least that way if they knew what they wanted to get to they could find it easily. IMHO those books are not just a subclassification of the main shadowrun forum.

Maybe splitting the main page into two coloms?

I'm planning on hacking the forum list to allow you to set a profile option that will enable an "extended" view that will show you ALL the forums and subforums. No, I don't have an ETA, but I have started on it.
Edit: Ok, I work fast.
