We're going in as a team? I was of the impression that we didn't know each other yet.

I'm back. Still shan't be around as much as I usually would, though.

That sounds like a good idea.

Jeff (Breaker) has skills in just about any weapon not attached to a vehicle (this includes explosives). He can also fix those weapons (he's especially proficient in firearm building and repair). He's got a bit of training in stealth and can keep himself afloat in social situations. He is also attentive to his surroundings. Oh, if you want a tattoo Jeff's your man. wink.gif

Well, I admit I read the intro post "Team players are a must. . . ." to mean that we're being hired as a team. If DH has no objections I'd like Hardcase to be attached to at least one other player since he's effectively a detective/mobile alarm system rather than a true combat mage.

My guy is a full magician, basic cop skill set with excellent sorcery skills and counterspelling skills. Decent conjuring and I'll be using a lot of watchers/elementals if possible.

Lots of spells, which I tried to get to allow for a wide range of situations, detection and defense primarily.

If anyone is interested in developing a combined backstory or a mutal fixer or something let me know and we'll bounce it around.

As far as I could tell, we didn't know each other before this run, or we only knew each in passing....as well as you can know someone else in the shadow community. But I am up for giving some info on Brandon (Bass).

He is ex-Spike, currently on bad terms with them and also on bad terms with most other gangs in Seattle too. He is pretty new to the shadows but he is quickly gaining a reputation for himself, mainly as being a big, nigh bulletproof, melee combat monster. He may not be the sharpest monofilament knife in the arsenal, but he is far more perceptive than most. This job is very important to him, one because the nuyen is great and it will be his first long term run, and two because Bass is wannabe musician, none too bad on his massive troll sized bass guitar that he carries everywhere.

Bass is an adept, with powers specializing in keeping himself alive (Mystic Armor, Astral Perception, Enhanced Perception, Improved Reflexes, Rapid Healing), though he can dish out damahe as well as he can take it. His great bass guitar is actually a retracting monofilament combat axe that acts as weapon focus for him, the neck reinforced to be a handle and the blades hidden in the body of the guitar. He wields the massive axe to great effect and can cleave most things and metas in two with little effort.

His only contact, if anyone wants to share a contact with him, is a ork fixer named Mallet who works out of Puyallup. Mallet is an ork who knows how to talk and talk he does, almost non-stop about everything and whatever is on his mind. But that doesn't mean he doesn't listen, he listens quite well in fact. He keeps his ear to pulse of shadow information going into and out of the Barrens, and this has made him a great fixer for those staying in the Barrens. This has also made him moderately wealthy and created good connections with those with more power than him, giving him access to materials and weapons that are harder to come by on the streets.

All, right there is some info on Bass, hope you guys like him. I am more than willing to know any of the team beforehand, just tell me if you want to and we will get a backstory together.

Well, Gabriel is a young elven adept, who follows the silent way - capable of sneaking around, survive a fist fight and a good shooter. His adept powers include Improved Reflexes, Mystic Armor and Attribute Boost.
Please note that his stats and skills are far from being optimized. I tossed around with BP as it seem to fit, realizing that building a good adept has become much more difficult then back in SR3.

Cedric, our characters can know each other for longer, if you like. I haven't figured out a background story, so I'm open for ideas. smile.gif

Hardcase used to be an FBI operative until he refused to drop something and embarassed people much higher up the food chain than himself. Now he's been black balled and left out in the cold. I've got minimal contacts in the Seattle shadows as my guy is originally from D.C. area.

My magician character can easily be tied into any other Awakened character, he's something of a intellectual who loves to learn about the latest advances in the Art. I've got one fixer contact who I can easily re-tool to get a mutual fixer, which would seem best in order to have been hired for prior runs together.

I actually dumped bp into all sorts of skills and have a variety of hardware with my character including an agent program and some basic utilities. Do we have a hacker among us?

Gabriel grew up in good ol' detroit and worked as a burglar from his early teens on. Some day he decided to leave the city and start new somewhere else. Some gentlemen helped him to make this decision by threatening him and his family.

Yeah, cliché, but I like it. This time.

Gabriel is a hispanic, so he's very catholic/ religious (his first connection was a pater of a small chapel) and goes to church as much as possible.
He's young, loves to brag and enjoys the sex, drugs and rock'n'roll lifestyle. Hardcase could act as a sort of big brother or dad or sth. like that.

Sorry for the late reply, but I just got proven I'm not a spambot or other nasty piece of code.... and my hopes were so high. Guess I'll have to live with the meat after all.

Got a way to get around? I've got a guy who can drive, fly and shoot from just about anything that moves. Even own's his own Nissan Patrol (DH approved of course). Former UCAS mil attached to Zone Defense Force (unusual circumstances of discharge), but still not QUITE used to working in the shadows, though due to his discharge it's about the only place he can do what he's good at and get paid. Experimenting with a vehicle combat adept concept... Been a boon to smugglers to get a guy with Zonie experience to 'run with 'em but moved on cause he ended up shooting at some former friends one time. So he's got a car, a few guns and is looking for work. Can have a sheet off ASAP if there's still space.

Ok, I guess I should toss in a few words too.

Asp is a Face, who used to be a cop. He's human, from Detroit, and hasn't really done a lot of shadowrunning. He's mostly into information gathering, middle-man work, conning and stuff like that. He is however, a former cop, and hasn't forgotten how to shoot a gun.

I was hoping to enter with Asp solo, since he's pretty fresh to the shadows, and hasn't really done many jobs requiring a team. He's a social guy who is easily interested in most things though, and absolutely a team player, so getting him in with the guys shouldn't be too tough.

Yeah, and he's a fellow Detroiter! biggrin.gif

Is the game full or is there still an open spot?
