Well this is going to be my first run at GMing on this site, but I am not too frightened by the idea of it. I have GMed far too much to be put be put off by this digital medium.

Anyways...

I want to run a campaign based around a group of runners that started in a small time sprawl, real small time like Fargo, UCAS. Well, the runners have made a name for themselves there as a good team (for Fargo) but recently have come into the sights of the powers that be and must leave Fargo for somewhere with a bit more shadows to hide in. In their new sprawl they must make a name for themselves, get ingrained in the new shadow community and hopefully survive all of the things that will try and tear them apart. This will start with the escape from Fargo to Seattle and go from there.

Character Rules: Basic SR4 creation rules. Concepts I will approve via PM.

Color me interested... now I just have to come up with some form of Steve Buscemi looking motherfragger for the game...

Can't wait to see the concept for him. Just hoping that others jump in on this one too.

What's the party make-up so far? Looks from a quick scan-through that we'll be magic heavy.

Alternate to the hacker concept was a wee bit of a nutter, a weapons specialist with a fondness for the Monofilament Chainsaw... but that just brings madness to mind...

Either way is ok, I am open for any concepts for characters, but my ideal is a bit of a balance on the team. Whatever you guys want.

One question. I havn't seen you say anything about house rules... would you consider the rather common house rule, that every new character gains starting (natural) Cha x2 in extra BP for Contacts?

I'm going to have a conniption fit if that's the case cause then I'm due some extra contacts for my shaman.

I was considering it, but I don't want contact heavy characters in the beginning, because you are currently in Fargo, but are very soon going to be in Seattle, quite a distance from your previous contacts. You will have to make new contacts once you get there, though I will be semi-generous in allowing opportunities to gain NPC's as contacts.

So, in the short, negative on that house rule.

Well, I don't think DigitalHeroin is going to be joining us, as I hadn't heard anything from him as of yet, but I do have everything I need for the rest of you, so we are going to get this thing started.

First off, you all know each other, so we are actually going to start with character introductions and descriptions here before I start the IC thread. I also want to create a small history between the four of you, the stuff that ties you together. So we are going to be using this thread for a little while longer before moving into actual IC game stuff.

So what do you need from us?

A description of your character, appearance, a recent background (you all have been running together for the last year in Fargo) and a small description of your abilities for the group. This is so you all know each other before the IC thread starts.
