...I tried to send a question to Fanpro FTP on a rules topic that came up recently but am unable to send a message without setting up an account. Seems when I click on the link I get this window that queries me on server information such as the incoming/outgoing server and valid hostname and type of server (?). I connect via wireless and use gmail. When I enter "mail.google.com" is when I get the valid hostname prompt. very confusing. In the past the link would just open up a new email message in whatever application I was using.

not really sure what to do.

Are you saying that the link at the bottom of srrpg.com is opening up your FTP client when you click on it? Now that's bizarre; the address *is* [marginally] protected via javascript, but that sort of protection doesn't play well with web mail, unfortunately ... probably time to retire that and change it to some sort of comment form or something.

You can mail Shadowrun Development at info at shadowrunrpg dot com

...yes it appears to be. This is the kind of thing my IT manager at work would deal with. Though I use a notebook quite extensively (partly due to bad arthritis which makes my handwriting totally illegible) when it comes to stuff like FTP addresses & such I am about as adept as my namesake character who has the "computer illiterate" flaw.

Thanks for the email address, I'll put it into my address book.
