Hopefully one of the admins will be wonderful enough to turn this into a sticky...

I give you all a place for gamers to post their interest in seeing a new game start. We have a place for GMs to post about the games they want to run, but no place for gamers to beg for a GM to show them pity and start up a new game.
Mister Dark
A humble hacker is in search of work. Please let me know if you are in need of one my talents, and can afford them. ((Player is looking for a play by post. I looked around on the boards here, but not sure if anyone is taking on new players.))
Kliko
Tough motherfucker seeks nearby employment opportunities. Tempory off-shore jobs are optional. Resume available on first demand.

Street Slag
Lookin for a game. Wish to play a spec ops/wpn specialist type of character. If this isnt the type of character ur lookin for for your game let me know what type of character you ARE looking for. Im flexible, so let me know. Also, let me know what kinda restrictions / adjustments to the regular game mechanics for when I create the character.
Mickle5125
I've got a handful of characters that can fit into almost any roll needed.

Oh look, that's 4 people looking for a GM. Anyone wanna step up?
Street Slag
still got a few questions, check your inbox.
Divine Virus
I have four characters I want to play. In order of preference (Meek and Miralda actually tie), they are as follows below. I am, of course, willing to tweak details to fit a game. Also, I have an interest in playing a full body cyborg, or an Artificial Intelligence, but don't have any specific concepts nailed down yet. If you would be willing to have either of those two types of characters, just let me know, and I will get brainstorming at once!

"Adam"
Description: Gonzo journalist, supermodel, cracker messiah, spymaster, political vigilant, billionaire playboy... Adam is none of these things, but he sure as hell likes to pretend he is. Adam's name isn't really Adam, it is just a label used for convenience. He has no fixed name, but rather moves through a floating roster. No identity is naturally to him any longer, so me moves through imagined lives freely. His IDs, his realities, he forges simply and easily on the Matrix- he is a master at spoofing. In fact, one of his hobbies is stealing node's IC. He has quite a collection by now. The only one who has any fixed idea of who exactly Adam is, is TlxI, a free Sleuth Sprite who took an interest in following Adam's exquisitely concealed and falsified datatrails. Following the datatrails, spying on Adam, TlxI became fascinated by Adam's behavior, and human behavior. Now they spare a resonance pact, and TlxI remains Adam's only friend and companion. He runs the shadows for cash (when the faked stuff won't work), for the experience, and for the challenge.

Bio: Grew up on in poverty, and started making a living running every kind of scam imaginable. When he became a technomancer, he used his new found abilities to wipe away his old life, old ties, and live a series of lies with no perminate face, name or history.

Rules details. A technomancer, specializing in Spoof. Also decent at threading and compiling. He also does do all kinds of hackign and data manipulation. Ideal with 450 BP, but 400 is also very doable. Prefere a house rule about complex forms costing less, or are cheaper to buy with karma, but that is not required. If there is such a rule, then 400 BP is ideal. Requires BBB, Unwired, Arsenal. Augmentation is nice but not needed. A thorough understanding of spoof rules would be good.

Meek-
Description: Meek is not a predator. He is the prey animal. And so he survives like the hunted, by being cautious, by being smart, and by being aware. And few people have a better grasp of what is going on around them then Meek. His small fleet of recon drones and he keep constant watch on everything around him, filtering the data for threats, plotting escape routes, and never, never allowing himself to be cornered, metaphorically or literally. He lives on the streets, more mobile that way, and trusts no one. Not since a bad experience with some organleggers a few years ago...he still shudders at the thought. But technology can make people better. Better at surviving, better at outsmarting the predators, better at knowing whats going on around you... but all that costs money. So Meek hires himself out as an unusual tactics, surveillance and paranoia expert. He makes nuyen, and with no cost of living, just puts that money right back into his body in the form of cyberware and bioware. In Meek's mind, he is a very successful organism.

Bio: Meek is about Fifteen years old, and an orphan. Some on his first memories only start when he was twelve, during which time he was locked away, waiting for someone to need fresh twelve year old organs. He was able to escape (longish story) and has been living in a self-sustained manner on the streets ever since.

Rules details
: I have a few questions about interpretation of rules that effect how Meek would be played, and a few things that there are not rules for per say, but should be possible (ie what kind of liscence would you have to buy to be able to access a countries SIN database? How far is the range of a retinal biometrics scanner? What would it cost to get a hacker to retask a satalite for you?) He also requires 1 item at availability 16. A few other higher availability items would be nice, but I am not attached to them. Uses rules from BBB, Augmentation, Arsenal, and Unwired. Please not that he is not a rigger, not a hacker, not a sammie, not a weapons expert... none of these things exactly.

Miralda
Description: Miralda is old. His first name has mostly been forgotten. He is one of the first elves born in the sixth age, and has spent most of his life traveling the metaplanes. Some would describe his entire life as a pilgrimage for understanding of the universe. He has traveled far and wide over the years. Seen planes that few have every seen before, and even fewer survived. He has stubbled across spirits too old for names, and dens of things to foul to see. During his travels he has encountered almost every manner of spirit known to metahumanity. All he discovered about mana, spirits, and the metaplanes, he logged and made public knowledge, so all the mages of the world could benefit. And this worked for the first few decades, but then his funding started to dry up. It is expensive to keep a body alive and healthy while the spirit is out wandering the far corners of reality. At first there was enough public funding to go around, but then only private interests, with specific tasks, and specific goals, and specific audiences. People who didn't believe in freedom of information, of sharing data to gather further knowledge, of the abstract questions of the universe. They wanted power. So Miralda started to work to fund his expeditions, but the only work he could find was in the shadows. The shadows had a use for him. To survive, Miralda had become a master at astral combat, and a skilled survivor. He could do things on the astral plane few others conceived on trying. Superior skill and superior strategy makes him useful to anyone needed an astral scout, or some more firepower against spirits and dual natured entities. By doing some of this "dirty-work," Miralda could make money for his true purpose- probing the mysteries of the metaplanes, and reality itself.

Bio: All in the above description.

Rules details. Obviously need at least 1 grade of initiation, so some karma or extra BP is required. As much as you want to give me, I can happily make use of in making this character. BBB and Street Magic are required, and I would really love some of the martial art rules from Arsenal, if you allow martial arts to be used astral combat. This is a character I know inside and out. I have his personality down perfectly in my mind. He was inspired by Master Yupa from "Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind." I have been wanted to play someone based on Yupa for a hell of a long time.

Winston Carrway.
Description: Winston misses the good old days. Back when he worked for the elven mob, everything was just perfect. They gave him nice suits, nice food, nice woman, a nice place to live, and a really, really nice car to drive. And all he had to do was cut up whoever they said needed cutting, and make sure no one hurt his boss, and drive his boss places. It was a really easy gig. But then, he discovered, as his boss rose in the ranks, it started to look bad for him to have a human bodyguard, driver and companion like Winston. So he had to be let go. Winston figured out he was being let go when the car he was in exploded. But he survived, miraculously, and even more miraculously, he figured out it would be best if he just forgot his old life and laid low. So he did some small time racing. Kicks the asses of everyone, even the riggers. He was that fast. And Winston was fast. It was what he really had going for him. He would react to situations before everyone else was even aware something was going on. It was his edge. It made him happy. It made him deadly with a blade, and one of the best drivers on the street. But even racing dried up as technology for riggers improved. They got to be even faster then he was. Before long, it was just him and the shadows, just like when he was growing up. At least he could still make a living there.

Bio: Winston grew up in the slums, and was never too bright. In fact, he was downright dull, and often offensive. But he was always the fastest kid on the block. His father (so his mother, a prostitute claimed) had been some hot-shot gene modified soldier, or shadowrunner, or something, and he seemed to have inhereted some of the tweaking. He always was almost supernaturally fast and aware. Various martial arts teachers tried to train him, but fact is, he isn't very strong, or coordinated, and certainly isn't very smart. All he is is fast. But so fast, that in a real fight, the rest doesn't matter. He worked with the mob, as I said, and was let go when he got to be embarrassing. Makes a living now as hired muscle and as an unhackable driver comparable to most riggers.

Rules Details: Winston originated as a thought experiment. I wanted to see how fast I could make a character. Give him exceptional attribute for reaction, genetic optimization for reaction and possibly intuition. He is also an adept, magic 5 (including essence loss) and improved initiative 3. Add driving skills and blades.
