Full Version: critter powers and or

i'm running a game with a free spirit in it and he bought the movement power, and he likes to use it on the cyborg in the group (i know weird group, but they wanted to play this way so who was i to tell them how to play) who according to the cyborg rules in augmentation has an OR of 4. I remember somewhere it stated that you reduce your effective force for critter powers by the object resistance of what you are trying to affect, but for the life of me i can't find where i saw it. Does anyone know if this is the case, and if so where is it? If it isn't how it works then does anyone know the actual interaction between critter powers and objects? Thank you.

Funny, I was about to play a game and use Movement so I just looked it up.
It is based on the subject's body attribute.
If the Body =< Force then treat as normal (multiply movement by force)
If Body > Force, then multiply by 1/2 Force
If Body > 2 x Force, then no effect.

The whole power is pretty wacky, even when it works.

i got the body part, but i was wondering how it interacted with object resistance

Seamlessly. As it is not a spell, it does not have to worry about Object Resistance.

thank you, my previous gm had me convinced that they had a negative interaction
