Full Version: Sr4 humble bundle - best missions?
Dumpshock Forums > Discussion > Shadowrun

Hi all. I recently picked up the SR4 humble bundle which has a ton of adventures, like 75 setting and/or mission books. I think it may be the entire SR4 line. I'm running a custom setting but I'm willing to do a lot of finagling to make a good plot work.

So, what were the best missions/adventures of sr4?

I rather liked Dawn of the Artifacts, but then again I'm really big on emphasizing the Earthdawn connection to Shadowrun.

Thanks for letting me know that this was available again! I missed it the last time (waited too long) but I got it this time around. Turns out there were a few I didn't have.

Hopefully there will be SR3 and SR5 bundles in the future.

Ah, I had assumed those were more like "magic gear" add-ons and hadn't read any. Will queue up those for next reading. My setting is very bespoke (half SR, half Eclipse Phase) so I know I have to do rework on almost everything, but I'm hoping for things that require less work than the many 1e modules I have.

I am so disappointed that after 30 years, SR still doesn't include any plot timeline or relationship map. Adding text like

Take notes for yourself while reading through the adventure that you can refer to later on. Possible things to note include:
major plot points (so you can see them all at a glance), the names of various non-player characters
just says they know they should have a one-pager but refuse to do it. Ironically, an old SR matrix diagram is actually a pretty good mechanism for showing multiple paths to a final state.
