We will need help in further creating and GMing this shadowrun gaming environment. I am sure there are problems others foresee that we may have overlooked, as well as solutions that somehow escaped our godlike powers.

I will still GM the special characters in a subgame, so I haven't abandoned you.
WinterRat1 will be posting guidelines on how we plan to have the game operate. A general idea is it will be ongoing. You may join at any time. No more people feeling shut out of games. No more rush to get a half thought through character in to meet a deadline, or trying to be one of the first 6 to get into a game. I would as soon see quality. Quantity will come from your desire to play such a well thought out character. GMs may recruit players from this pool of characters for individual games run under the umbrella. Hopefully it will cut down on games dying by keeping the players interested.
This is good for GMs because they can pick characters that fit the game they have in mind. It is good for players, because they have something to do between (or during) runs. They can also guide their own destiny while playing in the general game.
PC creation is pretty standard. Priority, Sum to 10, 125 Build Points, 425 point Becks. Standard availability 8, rating 6. Bioware that is only available as cultured is acceptable as long as it is no more than availability 8. Alpha, Beta, and Delta grade cyberware is acceptable as long as the grade modifier does not put the availability over 8. (This limits Deltaware to about a datajack, but no one can say we didn't try to let it in.)
Part of this game concept is to still to let players drive the action. But we hope other GMs will join with us to run their games under the umbrella. Each of those GMs can set their own chargen limits. Whatever all the GMs can accept will be added to the standard chargen limits.
If you have thought of running a game but put it off because of the scope of the undertaking, there will be opportunities to participate in that aspect to a limited degree and in varying ways. Such as running NPCs. Or Running a specialty you are familiar with like the matrix, or an astral quest. There are ways to share GMing duties and to get this to run smoothly and quickly delegating tasks will be crucial. You may be assigned a few PCs with whom to interact. The better you become, or the slower they post, the more you may request. I think nothing irritates a GM more than checking his game and no one is doing anything.
If Standard Character Generation is changed I will edit this post to reflect those changes. This will make it simple for new players, and eliminate searching a long thread for scattered posts.
Ideas are welcome. Incorporated ideas will be edited into the first few posts by myself and WinterRat1, so please wait to respond until he has had a chance to follow this post. If you are really exited by this concept, or have a great idea that can't wait (or may slip your memory) feel free to Private Message (PM) me, or respond in the "Possible New Game" thread.
Thank you for your cooperation and all your support.
