Is Toronto close enough?

Too bad, I was in Ottawa for a year a couple of years ago.

I know of a few people that used to play in Ottawa, but lost track of all but one. he is looking for a mature group to play with, and don't look like they belong on the "fear of girls" film.


As for toronto, where in toronto and what do you play? I have a friend in Brampton and I am in Oshawa. We are looking to start something down here.

Well, I've moved to SR4 and really don't want to remember older systems. My wife has just learned SR4 and there is no way I could get her to learn another system. We are near the east end, about 3/4 hour by car from Oshawa.

Except.... our car was stolen recently and we haven't replaced it. Can you imagine someone stealing a Ford Focus? And joyriding/trashing it??? To Peterborough???? Why didn't they steal our neighbour's Miata and take it to, I don't know, Niagara Falls?

Actually, our place is about halfway between Brampton and Oshawa. Hmmmm.....

I'm about 45 minutes south of you Hotshot, about five minutes from where the 416 and 401 join up. The lousy part about this is I don't drive. Sorry.

Toronto is just too far away for convenience. LOL

While I am the Toronto area Commando, I believe Ottawa has a Commando for Shadowrun. I also have a friend or two out that way (Meriss and I know him as CobaltEarthGem on another board) that is quite familiar with SR4 and could GM things...

There is a growing community in Ottawa. The trick is to track them down.

A bit of thread necromancy here, but I'm a shadowrun player just arrived in the Ottawa area. I've been playing since way back (the original version) and I have a basic level of competence with SR4. I'm a good GM in the sense of throwing together good stories and roleplaying, but I need more familiarity with SR4.

If any shadowrunners in the Ottawa area are looking for another player or somebody who can GM (with a little help with the wireless Matrix and magic rules) let me know!
