Jeremy Terintino was a simple man with simple wants. He wanted to become a great surgen, have kids with his wife, and live a peaceful life with his family. All of that changed one day.
Almost the entire Terintino family were Doctors. The whole reason Jeremy was was because he wanted to impress his father. Once his older brother and Father opened up their own clinic, Jeremy had other plans. In order to become a surgen, he needed to work at a hospital, not a family clinic. Jeremy had an offer at St. Hearts hospital in Seattle, he took it without question. His father was outraged, and told Jeremy to never speak to him again. He never did. Almost a year later, Jeremy's father and brother were killed in a road collision. Soon after, the family clinic closed down.
Jeremy continued to work at St. Hearts, despite his grief. Though the accident did have some everlasting effects. Jeremy became a feeble man. Very soft spoken, and quiet. He could never stand up for himself, to just about anybody. His only support system came from his pregnant wife, Ilene. This had helped, but only a little.
One night, while at work, victims of a 8 car pile up were rushed into the hospital. One of them was Ilene.
Jeremy almost lost it. He poured everything he had into healing her till he was almost unconcious. The damage was just too much. Other doctors had to carry Jeremy's unconcious body away. He learned of her death early the next day.
Days turned to weeks. And Jeremy was getting more and more depressed. Finnally one night, a man in a top hat and Pin stripe suit came to him in a dream. Jeremy knew him as the Baron Simedi.
"Follow me, young Jeremy. You know we have ways to bring her back. Become my priest and we can do it. You know this to be true."
Jeremy awoke in a cold sweat.
Could he trust the Baron? Was what he was saying the truth? Could Ilene be brought back to him, his sweet Ilene?
The dreams Continued, night after night. Until, finnally Jeremy gave in.
"Very good Jeremy. Now follow my instructions exactly."
The Baron instructed him to take Ilenes body from her grave and await his instructions."
Jeremy, without question went to her grave, and dug up her body. A poor gravekeeper came to see what was going on. And was killed for his trouble. Jeremy placed his body in Ilene's grave.
"She wont be needing it any longer." He thought
The Barons voice came into his head.
"Now Take her to Cairo, Egypt. There, is a temple. I await you there."
Through much trouble as to how to conceal a body all the way to Egypt from Seattle, Jeremy had made it. He entered the dessert, carrying Ilene every step of the way. Some how, he seemed to know the way. He had never been to Egypt, but he knew exactly where he was going.
His throat burned with thirst. But he kept walking. After 2 days of walking he reached a temple in the sand.
Once entered he crept through the damp hallways until he had reach an altar. There the baron stood.
"Come Jeremy, place her here."
Jeremy placed her body upon the alter. He spent the next few hours following the Barons instructions on the rituals preformed. Once finished, Ilene awoke.
She sat straight up and put her arms around him. After having her way with him for about 3 hours, she took a blade and gutted Jeremy right there.
He was shocked. How could his love betray him? After all hes done for her?
Slowly he faded, and died.
Suddenly he could here a voice, the barons voice.
"Arise! Jeremy Terintino! Awaken as my Preist!"
Jeremy awoke and looked around. His stomach was scarred all over.
"Baron..? What has happened?"
Baron looked on for a moment.
"You have been betrayed, my Priest. That foul woman has tricked you, and killed you. But by my power, you have been brought back! You must avenge yourself!"
Rage, betrayal, dispapointment, and hurt wracked Jeremy's body.
"Yes..." he finnally spoke. "I will kill her..."
Jeremy stood up.
"I am Jeremy Terintino no more. My name is Kadaj. Jeremy is dead....

The last two years have been the most exciting in Kadaj's life.

For starters, he assisted in the destruction of Alcatraz. Of course the Island is till there, but much of the building is not. He met some interesting spirits while he was there, and sometimes appear at both conveniant and inconveinaint times. He doesnt know any of their names, but they take the forms of prison inmates.

During that job, he met Kitai. Kitai is from Japan, and knows almost nothing about western culture. Or culture in general. Kadaj has gone to some lengths to educate her about things other than meditating, and serving a Dragon.(She serves an adult eastern dragon named Shou'tzu) She has gotten better, but still quite niave. Although clueless, she is feirce and a force to be reckoned with.

After the Alcatraz job, Kadaj was aproached by a Russian man named Alec Romanoff. Alec hired Kitai and another named Dreg, they needed another and Kitai referred him. The job was to find information on a a man in the Yakuza from his personal computer, and then kill him. He was the equivelant of a numbers runner/package boy in the mob. The plan was Kitai go in her traditional Geisha outfit and seduce him, and kill him the first chance she gets, while Dreg and Kadaj went to his home and get the information. Kadaj had taken a liking to Kitai so he had a spirit keep an eye on her to make sure there was no foul play. On the way to the mans home, Kadaj's spirit appeared and told him that the man had a mage casting spells at her to get her in bed. Kadaj thought nothing of this because he felt that Kitai could handle it. He had seen her work, and knew she could take care of herself. Dreg did not feel this way. He told Kadaj to take him to her so he could save her. Dreg had compromised the job several times already. He could never stick to a plan and would go on by himself and try to do it on his own. Kadaj told him she was fine and to just once, stick to the plan.
Dreg put a gun to Kadaj's head and ordered him to stop. Kadaj did so, and then quickly "Kicked" Dreg out of the car, litterly.
Long story short, Kadaj infultrated the mans house and got the info on his own. And when Dreg got to Kitai, she had already killed the Yakuza man, and his mage. Like Kadaj told him, she could handle herself. Since then, Dreg and Kadaj havent gotten along due to the fact the Dreg is a inexpeirenced hot head and Kadaj enjoys fucking with him as a punishment.
After completing the job, he was approached by Albinion. Albinion informed him that they had actually done the job for him. And Kadaj had proven himself, and immediately purged his mind with his memories, making him his memory keeper.

Dreg did outsmart him once though. On a job, him and Kitai had gone to the Realm of the forgotten. By mistake ofcourse. There they met Kodak and he gave them a brief look at Kadaj's life. Dreg did some research on Kadaj and found out much about his past with alot of help from a really good decker. He began to use this as black mail against Kadaj, and almost had him as a slave doing all his work. Kadaj found the decker who Dreg had hired. He wasnt difficult to kill. Most of his strengths were in technology. Before he killed him, he mind probed him to find out what Dreg knew. After doing this. He looked to see if this decker knew anything about Dreg. Turned out he knew that Dreg had some dark secrets. He was a former-assasson and had killed quite a bit of people. And he kept everything on file....with this very decker. After aquirring this information and these such files, and killing the Decker (named No.Jack) He sent Dreg copies. And told him that if he ever looked into him again, he wasnt just going to ruin his rep, he was going to kill everyone important to him, until finnaly he would kill him slowly. Dreg hasnt made any attempts since.

Kadaj began his search for The Dead Mans Hand. He looked high and low with no luck, and wouldnt you know it, Kitai finds it without even trying. Kadaj considered killing her, but went against it. He liked having her around, and she was a strong ally. Kitai noticed he wanted it gave it to him. It wasnt bound to her yet, so Kadaj quickly bound the spirit of the hand to himself. (Force 4)

His last job was going into an insane asylum. This is where he met Catch De'Ville. Catch is a vampire and was very open about it. Kadaj didnt mind. It was refreshing to have someone as dark-hearted as him around. The job itself wasnt hard. More strange. And was even more strange is it started with a call from Dreg., begging for his help. He was trapped there and needed Kadaj to get him out. After disposing of a spirit that was holding them there, he called Dreg. Dreg awnsered and had no Idea what Kadaj was talking about when he told him to meet him at the entrence that he should be free to go. Kadaj relized that the whole thing was a set-up. By who? He did not know.

Assuming it was Dreg that set him up, Kadaj devised a plan to set up Dreg. He had him hired for a job to destroy a city block near Redmund. Within this city block was the old family practice that once belonged to Kadaj's father and Brother before their untimley deaths. Kadaj knew the Seattle mob was using it as a lab to make bliss, alot of bliss. The plan was that Dreg destroy this and Kadaj tip off the mob that it was him, and let the mob do with what they will. What Kadaj didnt expect was Dreg suspected this and called in Kitai for help. Dreg and Kitai now work for the mob to pay off a hefty debt. Kadaj will never forgive Dreg for pulling her into this.

One part I left out was that every now again Albinion shows up and makes Kadaj take part in rituals he has no interest in, or go against everything he beleives in. He also sends him on petty errands to show Kadaj whos boss. Kadaj does everything he can not to imagen violent deaths about Albinion, knowing full well Albinion monitors his thoughts regualarly. But Kadaj has a hunch that the Dragon finds this amusing.

The single most confusing person Kadaj has ever met. Speaks in riddles constantly. Mystic Is the former memory keeper to Albinion, and Kadaj has a good sense that she is to blame for Albinion targeting Kadaj to be her predesor. Kadaj isnt sure to trust her, though she has been with him since the beggining.
Mystic shares a motherly relationship with Kadaj. For reasons unbeknownst to him, Kadaj has a deep trust in her. After the incident with his wife, Mystic was the first person he saw or even talked to. A talismonger for a mage usually is. She took an interest in him, and the rest is history.

Lust- Talismonger 5/3 Human (Charisma 9)
Lust is a great talismonger, but lacks good bussiness tact. Whenever Kadaj needs something, all he needs to do is go make a "Deal" with her. (Severe addiction to Sex.)
Kadaj doesnt neccessarly have a like for Lust, shes a talismonger that lets him take things from her shop for having sex with her. They often flirt in each others presence but a relationship has never formed outside of proffessionalism...kinda.

Kitai- Street Mage(Mystic Adept) 5/3 Elf
Kitai is a runner Kadaj met on his first Job. SHe is from Japan and completely clueless. This humored Kadaj up until she told him about her past. Her parents were saved by a Eastern Dragon. As repayment, he told them to give him their first born child. That child was Kitai. She has been raised by him, but not in fatherly type way, shes been training her whole life to become his drake. (Dragons name is Lui Kwea) Lui Kwae's other drake Shun Ji Toa beleives that a women has no place being a drake. Kitai Struggles with this often.
Kadaj has contimplated killing Kitai over the fact she has possession of The Dead Mans hand. But he can never bring himself to do, due to the fact that she resembles his wife so much. For the most part, he enjoys having Kitai around. As of late hes been relizing hes protecting her more and more as often as he can.

Bogart-3/4 Fixer Dwarf
Bogart is a small dwarf fixer. Smokes cigars and drinks often. Hes good for a laugh, he usually gets uncomfortable around Kadaj, but now only when hes angry. Bogart was a bum that Kadaj met. Or so he thought. Bogart runs a underground gang and sometimes Kadaj can use that to his advantage. Bogart is usually pretty tough for his size, but has been known to take a real beating. Not without payback, ofcourse. Kadaj has carried these tasks out for Bogart.

Catch Deville 3/3 Street mage/Magic Scholar(informant)
Kadaj recently met Catch during a job at a abandon Asylum. He had gone to help an associate. She had known the same contact and gotten the same call. The entire thing was a set-up, but they got along fabously and worked quite well together as a team. Much like Lust, she has an insaciable addiction to sex. Kadaj was happy to abligie with this. She was also very open about being a vampire, something else Kadaj was grateful for. Knowledge is power, and power was something Kadaj wanted.
