So I got my hands on Sim City: Societies. In short, unlike previous SimCities, this one drops the focus on the challenges of balancing a budget while expanding your city and solving current problems to well.. er.. no challenge.

Instead, you get to chose and place every single building in your city, allowing you to make your city look exactly the way you want. You do have to manage citizen mood, and you have to have enough cash and stuff like that. Anyway, I won't go into more detail, you can read reviews elsewhere for that. Suffice to say it has little to no challenge in exchange for allowing you to craft pretty cities.

The best part is that you can filter your buildings by certain styles, and Cyberpunk is one of them! Yes, you can build a Cyberpunk city! Lots of corporate buildings, tall towers, slum houses, coffin hotels, etc. That's basically why I got the game.

However, I have to say, the game has SERIOUS performance issues. I'm running it at everything Low and I can hardly play as the game lags like there is no tomorrow. Also, the complete lack of challenge kinda sucks.

So, in conclusion:
Ability to create a Cyberpunk city out of the box = awesome
Game = sucks.

Verdict: Don't spend money on it.

What are your system specs? Because the listed system requirements aren't that bad.
Backgammon
Pentium 4 2.6GHz
1 GB RAM
GeForce 6800 GS (256MB)

Game is basically unplayable with these specs, unless you are a very, very patient and forgiving person.
