I was considering taking the Enchanting skill so I could make my own conjuring materials and ritual materials but I am not sure if we can make them ourselves. Any input on how Enchanting works for Missions campaign and about the Enchanting skill itself will be appreciated.

There is a one week downtime between missions where extended interval work can happen.

I thought you can use the time on your calendar (which could be more than a week). I just started a magical group with another player and we used up several months of our calendar year working on the development of that group.

That's fine. That's what the calendar is intended for, actually. You can use big chunks of time between Missions in order to perform time-intensive tasks such as programming, vehicle modification, or enchanting.
The way enchanting works is this: You get the materials, you spend the time, you make the rolls in front of your next table judge and he makes a note on your AR and signs off on it.
The Dunner might have more input than I do, though.

I wouldn't count on hearing from His Dunnliness anytime in the near future; he recently spawned (no sign of UGE ... yet).
For what it's worth, my reading of what scraps of information are available on the subject is the same as Deacon's.
