In Russia, the New Years celebration is similar to Christmas in that gifts are exchanged, there is a Ð?овогоднÑ?Ñ? елка (New Year Tree), lavish feasts are served, and fireworks set off (what would the holiday be without my ЗаÑ?оленнаÑ? Сельдь ([herring in wine]?).
Oh, and Leela (#83) has a holiday wish of her own...
