The board software we are running is a out of date and we would like to upgrade the software.
That said, there will be a number of changes coming. The top two that come to mind:
1) The Terms of Service are changing.
2) Our current theme will not import and some changes are coming in look/feel.
I am creating two threads for discussion of these topics. We will post more as required.

So, I guess the obvious question then is ...
What are the changes? Or, if it's easier, what do the new Terms of Service include?

The new TOS is pretty much the old TOS minus some detritus and reworded for clarity.

Oh, not exactly a feature request, but could you make it so that the TOS actually open up when I click on guidelines? The empty page that opens insinuates that there are no rules on this board, but we are not half that bad.

To get to the Terms of Service, click on "terms", not "guidelines"

We're working on the final revision of the new TOS at the moment, and we would rather not post them till we're happy and finished with the wording.
Basically, we're trying to clean them up, simplify them a little (Less legalese), and make it as clear as possible. Hopefully we'll succeed.
There aren't really any major changes, and they should more clearly reflect how we've been trying to moderate this board the last couple of years.

I sense dumpshock becoming the first fixed TN boards.

I expect many people are going to complain that logic has become redundant on the new DS-forums then...
Theoretically, any internet-troll with some skill and a handful of scripts could now totally hack the site!!!
