So, I was thinking, again, and like, whatif, in peeps' profiles, you added a blog tab, see, like between "Posts" and "Comments", right, and when you click on it, you see their blog, which would be like a forum, just for that person, but hidden from from the forum list, where you could read their blog and post comments and stuff, like a thread, and like when they go to their profile and click the blog, they can add blogs and stuff, and then when someone has a new "topic" in their blog, it'd like add an icon next to their online/offline icon, which would like indicate that they had a new blog, k'ay, so I could be like: oh, cool, Fortune's got a new blog, and then I could go read it and be all like, man! dude! and stuff.

Voted the closest I could get to "just go get a free blog account on one of the hundreds of sites that offer them and link it from your sig or profile".
edit:
This sounds snarkier than intended. I didn't mean "screw you and your blogginz" so much as "this would be way more of a pain to implement and be responsible for than it's worth, given the multitude of already existing options".

I'm just afraid of over moderation. Perhaps My Space has blogs.

"screw you and your blogginz" was one of the original options, but I took it out because I was afriad it would be moderated.

Curse it, curse it, curse the blogginzes! It's gone! My precious… he's found it, my birthday present… how did we lose it, my precious… it must have been when we came this way last, when we twisted that tasty young moderator… yes, that's it! Curse it! It slipped from us after all this ages and ages, it's gone! The blogginzes has got it in its forumzes… but it doesn't know what the present can do, does it? Yesss… it doesn't know! But it's tricksy… yes, supposing the horrid moderatorzes catch it… if they get it, they will get the present, our precious present, they'll find it, and they'll find out what it does, one of the moderatorzes will put it on, and then no one will see him! Not even our clever eyes will see him! And he'll come creepsy and tricksy and catch us…
Then let's stop talking, precious, and make haste. The blogginzes might find a way to the backdoor, yes, that's it, the backdoor, make haste…

You heard eidolon, Fortune. Get a blog account somewhere and link it in your sig. That goes for the rest of you, too.

I've had a LiveJournal for
years. I have only ever made one entry (song lyrics), and am not really planning to change that pattern any time soon.
Besides, Dumpshock is for Bloggin'!

I've got an account, but I don't tend to advertise it or its name.
Why?
Simple: it has stuff I wrote when I was sixteen in it. I'll leave you to figure out the issue there.

I just don't know. Since the forum merge - and before, really, to be honest - it's hard to find the really good posts that you read and think: man, I really want to
play Shadowrun.
There's some cool stuff going on in IC Welcome to the Shadows, and some really great discussions, so maybe I'm just suffering for hobgoblin's January syndrome. But it seems like if a few of the really interesting posters (which would vary for the different readers) had places to just brainstorm or cross-post their thoughts, I wouldn't have to wade through threads of rules discussion to find that really neat gem on page 4 of whatever topic is currently hosting the perpetual argument over whether Shadowrun sucks or not.
OK, so maybe I would still have to, maybe nobody would use their blogs. Maybe I'm just lazy and want all my Shadowrun at my finger tips.

I think that is an awesome idea. I just need to figure out whether it's an emu that is a samurai, or a samurai that rides an emu into battle. Or maybe an emu that is a samurai that rides an emu that is not a samurai into battle.
But first I need to find the damage code of a Chaos Dunk.
