To say nothing of Bull, either.
Bull is actually not one of the Jackpoint characters. The last book he showed up in was Dragons of the 6th World (I think).
When the concept of a small, dedicated group of characters for the Jackpoint concept was initially discussed, I decided throw his name in for consideration for two reasons.
1) He's retired, been retired for a while, and the way we wrapped up that campaign, he's not terribly interested in the Shadowlife anymore. He's old, he's tired, and he's lost far too many friends. Now he just wants to relax and spend time with his family. His son, on the other hand, is about 18 now...

2) The main reason was that I was hoping we would get (and was glad we did get) mostly new characters. It was a new game, new rules, and we'd had that 5 year timeline jump. The thinking was that new blood and new characters would be fun to work with, and wouldn't have any baggage. YOu need a few old hands to "Bridge the gap" and teach newbies the ropes, but there were far better choices than my guy

That's one thing I'm really looking forward to, now that the "Core books" are out of the way. We can start getting more and more "fluff books" that can focus some more on the story stuff. The Netcat/Clockwork stuff is some of the best Shadowtalk Infighting I've seen since Nightfire and Neon Samurai back in the Street Sammy Catalogue. (Think it was those two, anyways. Been a LONG time since I cracked the SSC.
