This topic will serve as a repository of information for our gaming group in Seattle. There is no play-by-post campaign associated with it.

Recent News: This will change targets to allow archiving of "news" posts and keep a current in-game time. 'zappenin inna Barrens this week? This is the place to find out!
House Rules and GM decisions in effect: Updated as these change.

Ongoing Plot Arc summaries and plans: GM's running a plot should make a post about it, and keep the post edited with current details. Once the arc is done, the post will remain as an archive of that plot arc. NPCs important to a particular plot arc should be detailed here, although NPCs that are seen across many arcs won't require more than a mention. I'll update the links list as new plot arcs rise and fall.

Character Tracking: Please post a paragraph for each active character, what they're up to, where they're living, what gear they're trying to buy, who might be after them, and the like. Edit that post rather than generating another one when something changes, and this link will always point to it. Feel free to make a post letting us know about the change, however.

NPCs: A bit of a collective effort, this list will include links once an NPC that exists outside of a single plot arc has been fleshed out to the point where a summary post can be made.

who else?

Factions: Some major entities in our game world (particular corporations, the Irish Mafia, etc) have developed enough that they should have some information logged. Feel free to do so here, and I'll link to a summary post when one is made.

House Rules and GM decisions in effect:

The penalty for bypassing Armor with a called shot is 1/2 armor value, round up (rather than 1xArmor Value). Please note that Unarmed attacks can't make Called Shots (and make up for this through Maneuvers, Subduing combat, and the other cool stuff you can do with Unarmed).

Plot Arc: Y'all have Ebola!
Spas, Mjr. Havoc, Glitch

Spas's alter-ego, Mr Jacobs, arranged for the acquisition of "next month's soy flavor cultures" at the behest of Mr. C. An on-the-road hijacking was executed outside of Issaquah (likely the Major's idea), with security being significantly heavier than expected. Delivery of the newly-aquired booty was hastily arranged at a drop location in Puyallup, where the group found evidence (in the form of a hidden hazmat team spotted by a recon drone) that their cargo might be more than it seemed.

When they started coughing up their lungs the next day, a visit to Chrome King and some of his contacts determined that they'd been exposed to a weaponized variant of Ebola. Glitch's aggressive pursuit of Mr. C's datatrail (and Major Havoc's sharp nose) led the group back to an abandoned office building in Puyallup, where the basement had been converted to a temporary bioweapons lab, complete with independent power generation and rooftop guards keeping an eye on the streets.

An assault on the lab yielded an antivirus, 4 prisoners and the commlink of the group's (now deceased) leader. From this, the group was able to figure out that Mr. C had hired the laboratory crew to replicate and repackage the disease for deployment, and contact him to arrange for a "pickup" of the delivered product. The lab was destroyed with a fuel-air explosive, sterilizing it in the process. Angry and more than willing to take it out on their antagonist, the group shot down Mr. C's LAV in the Crash Zone, killed his guards, and dragged him off for interrogation via mind probe.

Mr. C had been an Evo company man, in charge of black bag operations. His plan had been to steal the disease, an Aztechnology product, and release it within an Aztechnology bioresearch lab in Seattle. The lab's safety systems would prevent a massive outbreak, but the death of hundreds of lab workers theoretically engaged in making a horribly contagious bioweapon right in the middle of Seattle would make wonderfully bad PR for Aztechnology. The irony of using their own weapon to do this appealed to him. Shortly thereafter and despite Glitch's best efforts, Mr. C's cranial bomb detonated.

The UCAS Guard are investigating the detonation of a bomb in Puyallup that levelled four square blocks, while Lone Star has put out yet another press release advising the public of the dangers of entering Redmond, including graphic video of a burnt-out, bloody and looted LAV surrounded by dancing scavengers. Chrome King has given the group a clean bill of health, and synthesized a large amount of the antivirus in case of an outbreak.

Mike S Character Tracking

Skate (human):
Wiseass, adrenaline junkie, and bright blue pusher of the human-performance envelope, Skate's antics often seem suicidal. A determined, dedicated athlete, Skate knows there are limits to what a human can do... and is determined to find out what they really are. In the meantime, all those special foods and upgrades are expensive, and it's hard for a SINless, semi-literate party animal to make a buck legally these days.

Edward Wilson (ork):
Originally a Triad street enforcer from Hong Kong, Edward is trying to make the big bucks with art theft, forgery, and aggressive feng shui manipulation in Seattle. Passably acceptable at high-society functions and well-versed in technical infiltration, Edward is well suited to a number of roles in the shadows. It's hard to get away from your roots, though... when under stress, the Hong Kong thug can come to the surface, and he opts for the most direct solution to many problems.

Major Havoc
[ Spoiler ]

Major Havoc is now enduring some whacked out form of Ebola in addition to all his other problems. What other problems you ask? Well first there is his now infamous running gun battle with lonestar on the nightly news in the late 2050's which has him pretty well known, at least to the Star. Then there is the fact he's getting old and trying to extend his lifespan. Having been vaccinated against the strain of Ebola he recently got hit with and coming out clean, Havoc is now looking forward to some quality vat time to get rejuvenation therapy, and a synaptic accelerator. Then it's time to hit the streets to make some cash for the follow up treatments.

NPC's

QUOTE (shrike30)
NPCs: A bit of a collective effort, this list will include links once an NPC that exists outside of a single plot arc has been fleshed out to the point where a summary post can be made.
The D. K. Terror
Jean-Paul
Sammy
who else?

Eventually a lot of Minor one's will probably make it in too.

Sammy Chang
Sammy is what is probably most important to most organized crime syndicates, he's an earner. Running an Import Export warehouse on Airport Way Sammy sells a wide variety of Hong Kong imports, making a fair bit of legitimate money, and laundering even more for an undisclosed Triad. Sammy is a Triad fixer with the ability to get his hands on a lot of thins through his Triad connections. Sammy is not a terribly imposing person physically, middle aged, average build glasses and greying hair. Much more intimidating are the 4-8 guys in his entourage, the dark glasses, suit and trench coat guys hanging out playing mahjong, operating the forklift, or loading or unloading trucks.

Jean-Paul St.Laurent
Jean-Paul is a special niche fixer, dealing primarily with catering to the special needs and wants sports celebrities and cleaning up after their messes. Retired from the Seraphim after CATco was swallowed up, Jean-Paul had enough cash to indulge one of his major passions, hockey he bought a minority share in the Seattle Thunderbirds organization. Jean-Paul's secondary job as a fixer grew out of attempting to recruit top talent for his team, what was available was often somewhat damaged goods. Subsequently Jean-Paul's reputation as a procurer of the exotic and clean up man has made him a go to guy for many of Seattles minor (and a few major) celebrities in the sports, performing arts, and social circles.
