Hey people, I'm still new here but im running a small game where I live, we play 2-3 times a month. But none of them are interested in running games, So Ive been kinda looking to get into one myself. But where I live no one plays shadowrun (only D&D and Rifts) except the small group which i run.

I was wondering if anyone here that does remote games was interested in getting a new player? I would really like to start playing as a PC myself but sadly its not an option, which is why I'm here.

I live in Saint John, New Brunswick in Canada, Hence why i was looking for a Remote (Online) Game, I know some people use voice chat and different clients to play online remote games so if anyone is looking for a new player that is will to commit the time to play let me know. Also my incase any is looking im in Alantic Time Zone GMC -04:00 though my play time is pretty flexible for the most part.

You didn't say what your location is. That might elicit a few more posts. I suggest you edit your inital post and include that info in the title/heading that people can see before they enter the thread.

Any chance you are in the Wichita KS area? I recently moved here from Indiana and will be interested in finding a new gaming group.

Well i edited my post, and no sorry i live in Canada, but thats why i was looking for a remote game, Like online using voice chat and gaming clients so you can play with anyone around the world ya know.

I think part of the reason vladski asked where you are located is the fact that even playing by remote can be a problem for people in disparate time zones.

I hope Psionghost doesn't mind me asking here, but instead of making another topic I'll just say that I'm also looking for an online game. My schedule is pretty flexible, excepting that afternoons (in U.S. time) aren't too convenient for me, but nights and mornings are free. I prefer text-programs rather than Voice, though, so things like OpenRPG, AIM or Maptool are better for me.

Iduno, if Psionghost doesn't come back, any chance you'd take me on? I'll come up with some character ideas, but I'd like to keep the mechanics pretty simple at this stage, so a street sam or something rather than a hacker or a mage.

I'm interested in an online game as well. I prefer voice over chat, but either is fine really. I'm in the central time zone of the US and nights are the only thing that will generally work for me.
