Long time fan of this series, and finnally had a chance to sit down and watch all 24 episodes back to back. I definitively have to give kudo's. All its missing is cyber and magic. If anyone knows of something better please give me a link

i did not like the psycho-stuff they just had to throw in there with the second barrage . .
as for more shadowrunny? Bubble Gum Crysis for example?
and even if i did like the first 13 episodes of black lagoon, it was missing the matrix too, and there was no real sprawl just this island city . .

Benny is the hacker/tech wiz and like most games(SR{generalization}) they gloss over the hacking aspect.

I liked it too. I was afraid it'd be like too many animes and fall into Wangst, superpower tournament or ridiculous romance but it never did.
The scenarios, script and dialogs (the weakpoint of most animes, IMHO) aren't groundbreaking - it's no Cowboy Bebop - but they're quite good.

All in all it's one of the best anime I've seen so far. I'm waiting for the next season(s).

I follow the comic books - they were discontinued in french I think, but the german ones are still running... so now I have the first 5 issues in french, and the 6th in german, which irks me a bit.

I haven't gotten around to watch the DVDs gathering dust on my shelf yet
