I just recently went to Gen Con and purchased the 4th edition rules. I also got to play a one shot game there. All I have to say is Wow..... !!

I really enjoyed myself imensely, and I thought I would put some feelers out there to find a group in my area. I am certainly willing to take a drive any where that is within an hour to find a group to play.

I used to play 1st ed while in the Army (ehhem 15 years ago), then when I moved back I would play off and on with 2nd ed, but never really played all that much since. I love the concept and I usually have a great time playing and I love the new Rules, it really fixed a lot of stuff that needed to be fixed (Decking, Magic, Target number 7 etc....) I normally stay away from the magic system going for much simpler archtypes (Street sam, Merch etc).

Anyway please let me know if there is a need for another player in the area.

Hey , Im in the same boat. I hadnt played since 1st edition either and i cought a cpl games at gencon.

Was a blast. I wish i still lived in Aurora we could hook up and get a group going. But ive moved to near st louis mo.

I'd also be interested. I live in North Chicago/Waukegan, IL... which is much closer to Racine area than Aurora. =) I used to run 1st-3rd edition, but just started on the 4th edition rules recently. I'd be good for a game. I'm available in the evenings, including weekends, as I have a rotating schedule of days.

I also played a few games at GenCon. Had a lot of fun. I wonder if I met any of you... I think I played one on the last day, can't remember the name, got in on a generic... something to do with Siberia. Were any of you in that game?

Couple times a month is fine for me. I work days on a rotating schedule, so evenings work for me.

Me too would be fine as well.. but know it is kind of far... so it could take me an hour and a 1/2 or so..

but I would be whiling to give it a go a couple times a month.

I run Missions in Peoria once a month....but that's probably a little too far for you. My home games are in Decatur, but once again, probably too far.

Yeah, that's pretty far for me. =)
