I'm looking to start up a Shadowrun 4E game in the Austin area, and I'm seeking 4-6 players to join. While I'm planning to run the game myself, if there are any veteran GM's out there looking run a game, I'd be happy to play instead.
Currently, I'm planning to run a long-term game that would take players from green intiates to prime-runner status, set against the backdrop of the Seatlle Metroplex. The game would have a good focus on role-playing, and less emphasis on rolling dice and blowing stuff up.
Shadowrun is a fairly complicated game, so all prospective players should know the 4E rules. I plan to run the game once a week - most likely on Fridays or Saturdays, but other days are possible.

I'm working on finding more members. So far, I've found one player interested in playing regularly. I've found another player who could only play every other week.
What's your schedule like? How often were you looking to play?

I run a game in San Antonio, but that might be a bit of a drive. If anyone is interested anyway, it's on Tuesday nights starting at 6:00pm at the Dragon's Lair Comics & Fantasy on Fredericksburg and Medical. If you decide to show up, either ask the staff to speak to the Gaming Event Coordinator or look for the girl with the frizzy black hair and round glasses. (i.e. Me.)

I'd like to play too. My schedule is pretty flexible and either weekly or bi-weekly games are OK for me. Would prefer not to do it on sunday because I have an SR game going over Ventrilo with some guys in Montana. I'm living south of the river but have reliable trans.

It looks like we have enough players interested to start a Shadowrun campaign. However, since people probably don't check these forums on a regular basis, I'm hesitant to post a set day or time for an opening game. Instead, I'd like everyone interested in playing to send me an email, at fast-jack@hotmail.com. Once I get everyone's email, I can put them all together and send out a group email to everyone, so we can coordinate times and locations. You don't need to post your email on the forum, you can just send it to me.
So far, it seems like everyone would be free for a Saturday or Sunday game, either weekly or bi-weekly. Renfield007 has offered one potential location for the game. While I can certainly GM, is there anyone else interested in running the game?
Mr. Satuday, while I appreciate the offer, I have no interest in driving an hour and half down the busiest stretch of I-35 just to play a game.

It may have been caught by my spam filter. I've only heard back from two players so far.

Then perhaps we should do it using PMs on the forums.

Okay, sorry folks, but I'm not going to be able to run the game any more. Work has just kept me way too busy over the last several weeks, and it doesn't look like its going to let up any time soon. That's the price you pay for changing jobs.
That said, we clearly have a group of people here interested in playing. I encourage all of you guys to try and form a group together. I'd be happy to join you guys, but I just don't have the time to try and run a game myself.
Sorry for the trouble.
If you are looking for more people, I also placed a posting at Pen and Paper Games forum.
