Full Version: SR4 Supermarket Scuffle?

A one-bit demo adventure for Shadowrun, complete with ridiculous table for things to spill on you, has been part of the game since the late 80s. To be quite honest, it's likely the reason I started playing - in no other game have I ever had to consider the tactical ramifications of pie filling and Brillo pads.

So why hasn't anyone provided one of these for SR4?

My personal favorite play was to pick up a ganger with Levitation and play pinball with him and the shelves.

I've tried to run this particular into a few times. I know it's supposed to be run with the sample characters, however my players like their own newbie characters, and sadly one of them, being my sister, got bored of the combat on her own. I ran out of other runners, I'll try it with 3 people though. Maybe I'll get better results. Anyone have any stories for this one?

This was my first run ever. I was the only person on the team who didn't royally screw up, somehow managing to take out a bout half their team (I had a shotgun of DOOOM!), and stealing the security tapes and a rather valuable katana which proved to be a monosword.

Also, you'd be amazed how badly you can mess someone up by pushing them into a mixture of household cleansers and pie filling.
