Greetings one and all. I have been tapped by the GM of my current shadowrun 4th edition game to attempt to obtain more players through this avenue. We have recently lost a couple of players to real life issues and have reached a good point to work more in. Any character type is accepted as is any experience level. It is played on Wednesdays from 6:30 pm pacific time (normally starting at 7 to be honest) till we call it quits for the night normally happening at about midnight, but the end point is flexible based on the feelings of the players.

Now that we are past the mechanical details we can move on to why in the world you would be interested. We are currently on a job to steal a book (or at least obtain the information from it) from a museum in London. To make matters worse the book is on loan from a great dragon (name starts with an "L" and he owns a German company). To help you along in these matters you have a boy that is hyper obsessed with security but can make almost anything you need and acts as the wheelman, an adept doctor who seems better at killing people, a cybered up troll with a good deal of skill in fire support, and a magician with some skill in stealth who seems to be the most normal person among the group. The pay (or at least the promised pay) is great but so is the risk.

what is the age range of your group in RL? and what chat program do you use?

We use IRC, and our group seems to be mature, so I assume 20+ in most cases.

I am 18, and another player is 17.

But really, what difference does age make?

Have you tried www.s-run.com or on IRC channel #S-Run, must warn you there is a strong chance you getting overrun on the IRC channel if you go there and ask.

only asked age because im 44 and though id be fine playing with adults 18ish and above id feel a little wierd playing with a group that was 12.

no offence ment just a comfort level thing.

I have yet to encounter a player of Shadowrun that is competent and able to play an online game at less than 16. I doubt that you will find any online SR games with players younger than that.

I am interested! However, I rotate working graves and days, so I could miss a day here or there. Hopefully that is not a problem.

Well, it should not be too much of a problem especailly since you are letting us know ahead of time. This weeks session has been post poned, so we will have plenty of time to get you up to speed on what has been going on and work out some way to minimize the effect of you having to miss games.
