The Arsenal rules for modifying vehicles and weapons are interesting to me, but I'm left wondering why armor modification was left off. Are there any fan-made guidelines to modifying armor that anyone would like to share?

The BBB includes Armour Mods. Arsenal adds more options and includes an optional rule for limiting mod Slots. Check the opening page of the Armour section.
