There seems to be a discrepancy on character generation for SR4. I believe that the 200 point Max build point (for a 400 BP character) is for Only the Physical and mental attributes (Body, Agility, Reaction, Strength & Charisma, intuition, Logic, Will). There are other members of my group that believe that the 200 BP max includes any points spent for race, Physical & Mental Edge and Magic/Resonance.

The Examples given in the book leads me to believe that my understanding is correct.

Could someone please clarify the letter of the law as intended by SR4
