My school, Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, has placed me in charge of announcing Egyptian Campaign to the dumpshock community.
Egyptian Campaign is a weekend long gaming convention in the spring held here at SIUC.
Dates:
19, 20, 21 of March
Times:
Noon through 11PM Friday
8am to midnight Saturday
8am through 5PM Sunday
Website (WIP):
http://www.egyptiancampaign.com/ Is anyone interested in further information as it becomes available?
On a related note, what would it take to convince some of the developers to make a showing? Are there specific ways to go about officially contacting them to inquire into interest?

Ahh Carbondale, one of my many haunts in the younger years.
I spent a good long time getting drunk in and around SIU, prefect way to blend into the surroundings.
Does the Con have a web link or any other info you can pass on about it? Dates, Prices, etc.

at the moment, the SGS officers are still trying to work out the details. I'll keep you updated as the details reach me. Rumor has it there's a website, but the details elude my reach at the moment.

QUOTE (http://www.egyptiancampaign.com/)
9) Only vendors may sell or buy games materials at the convention.
I am coming to break this rule alone.
I will buy a game material!

We do need judges for the games *GMs for those who, like me, don't make that connection at first*

I see that... Ya know... I may come for that, then. I'm sure I can write three or four four hour long stories...
