I would prefer the Turbiaux Palm-Squeezer Pistol for close work when a spring loaded leaf blade is unpractical. For a hold-out pistol I would go with the COP 357 Derringer.

You can glare at someone and do more damage.
The bullets are fired at around 400 fps, which won't even break the skin. The velocity threshold for breaking the skin for BBs is somewhere around 650 fps, and the projectiles fired by this thing will likely have worse ballistics than a simple BB.
You sure on that? I mean, it SOUNDS right but experience tells me otherwise. I've got a small little airsoft gun that spits out at roughly 325fps and it has broken skin many times. Granted more often than not it just leaves a bruise but I have seen it draw blood enough that no one else is allowed to point it at me.

I'm not sure. I think the source is referring to actually penetrating the skin down into the fat underneath, and not just drawing a drop of blood. The only actual experience I've had is with 3-400 fps BB guns that wouldn't do more than sting.

As someone else pointed out, you don't need to do more than make contact, if you're loaded with capsule rounds or stick-and-shock. I'd question what kind of range this thing would have, but it might make a good delivery system for those kinds of ammo.

I had a case where someone used a "key-chain gun", no barrel, shot some .22 or 7.65 mm pistol cartridge (centerfire, I think 7.65 short). Range was a few meters, and it made a hole into the leather jacket the target was wearing, didn't go through the t-shirt undeneath the jacket, but caused a bleeding wound that left the shirt with a bloodstain two palms large.

It looks like something out of the Christmas Crackers my in-laws use.
It is so small could you make those special rounds for it? Would there be room?

The key to having real fun with this gun would be to reload the brass by hand.

remind me to stay away from your house at xmas.
Seriosuly though, you might have found a use for it. sneaking it in as a charm on a bracelet or a prize in a cracker or box of carmel coated popcorn. It's still pretty damn uselessbut that might work, then again could you hide a bigger gun, or a sharpened tooth pick, in a cyber limb?

Honestly, there's better ways to hide a more useful gun.
The infamous Zip-Gun Pen comes to mind. Professionally made ones for real spys even write, apparently.

Oh I agree. look at most of my posts here. I'm just trying to find some use for this joke. A Xmas assassination using DLN's in-laws' customs is the only thing I can think off, crazy brits, Though a bomb in a cracker might be better.

I don't know. Intimidation perhaps. Team a nerdy little (t)rigger man with a sineced(ish) .50 cal sniper drone and a little practice on timing etc.
Walk up to the goganger, pull out this toy and amaze his friends by blowing of his head.

Did't you see Saving Private Ryan? You fail! You're supposed to shoot the ganger with the little pistol but at the same time have an aircraft overhead drop an anti-tank munition from World War II on him.
