Since late last year, when I try to edit most pages I get an error as follows:
  • Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 25165824 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 122880 bytes) in /home/sites/wiki.dumpshock.com/htdocs/extensions/UserMerge/UserMerge.i18n.php on line 332
If I try to upload an image, I get:
  • The upload directory (public) is not writable by the webserver.

Any ideas ?

I don't check in here often enough. If there's a problem with one of the Dumpshock.com pages, either send a notice to the Moderators here, or post on the Dumpshock Bug Report and News forum. We're more likely to notice problems there.

ANyways, a quick check shows that it's working fine on my end now. I think last month there may have been a problem with some of the permissions, as I know at least one of our guys was having trouble reaching their FTP site for a bit. Redjack has that squared away now, so that may have been linked.

As for the Wiki site... I seriously want to overhaul that at some point. Looking through it, there's an awful lot of non-canon stuff that's been added, and alot of that isn't clearly marked as such. I don't know how much I like having any non-canon stuff there, since that can be very confusing for folks, and really dilutes it's usefulness as a resource for people looking for "real" information. It's a big project though, and while we've talked about doing something with it, we haven't decided exactly what or how we'd go about implementing those changes (And with our schedules, we'd probably have to get some volunteers to head up the project).
