Full Version: For Sale: Star Wars d20 1st Edition and RCR books

Well, since Saga Edition is working so well for me and my group, and seeing as how in a couple of months I'll own the full Saga Edition line, I'm divesting myself of the 1e and RCR books that have been gathering dust on my shelves.

Prices are more-or-less negotiable, shipping is more so (and ships by the method of your choice; my default is USPS Media Mail, but I'm open to whatever you want if you don't like that idea). Smoke free home, and while I do have a cat, she doesn't tend to get close to my books.

All books are in excellent shape unless noted otherwise. References available upon request, or you can just search the "good sellers" thread for my name.

Arms and Equipment Guide - $8
Coruscant and the Core Worlds - $12
Geonosis and the Outer Rim Worlds - $12
Hero's Guide - small ding on edge of cover - $10
Invasion of Theed Adventure Game - dice and Rowrorr action figure not included; a little shelf wear on the box, but otherwise in good shape - $6
Power of the Jedi Sourcebook - $12
Rebellion Era Sourcebook - 1st Edition version, not the Saga Edition version - $15
Revised Core Rulebook - minor shelf wear on lower corners of the covers - $15
Secrets of Naboo - $8
Secrets of Tatooine - a little dinged up around the binding, though it's still tight - $5
The Dark Side Sourcebook - $15
Ultimate Alien Anthology - $12

Just drop me a private message if there's anything you're interested in.

Thanks,
Patrick

I saw "Star Wars" and "first edition" and got all excited thinking I was about to hit a d6 jackpot. No such luck! frown.gif

Good luck with the sale!

Sorry about that. wink.gif I haven't had any WEG Star Wars D6 stuff since...hell, since my apartment fire when I was living in Houston back in...shit, '93 or '94? Same fire that ate all my 1st Edition AD&D books. I got insurance money, but it was tough trying to find replacements for a lot of those books, so I just gave up.

house fire is really a worry for me, after i considered how hard some of the books on shelf here would be to replace.

My wife and I are terrified of that sort of thing. Between her gaming books, my gaming books, her collection of novels, my collection of novels, her nursing school books, my growing collection of History books (especially as I get into grad school)...yeah. Not even counting my graphic novels and a few fairly expensive comics I've got, we'd be out a pretty penny -- and dreadfully naked and alone feeling -- if our "library" got damaged.

Have you considered putting the books you don't use regularly into a safe-deposit box?

Critias, I did the same thing. I saw "1st edition" and got all excited...

I really, really, REALLY dislike D20 Star Wars (Actually 3.X/D20 almost anything), and while Saga is a bit of an improvement, the book layouts and the way character information is dispersed through all the sourcebooks makes me want to scream. So while we've been talking about playing Star Wars again, we're talking possibly WEG's version. Sadly, most of us don;t have the books any longer (I gave a bunch of mine to a friend years ago, and another guy sold his off, etc). frown.gif

I've still got all mine -- I still lovingly read over Pirates and Privateers from time to time -- but all my buddies jumped the d20 bandwagon, got into Saga edition, and are now into 4th Edition D&D. None of 'em feel right to me, so I don't partake in gaming as much as I used to.

4th Edition D&D the game that doesn't just give you cancer, but testicular cancer. And makes you impotent.

Fixed.

I know it's a popular thing to do hereabouts, but could we please not bash d20 games, and D&D in particular, in this particular thread? I'd consider it a personal favor if you could do it elsewhere. Thanks.
