Hello all. I am an old-school 2nd Edition player/GM that just started buying all the AR4 books. Thus far, I love the updates to the system and the background. I was hoping to get into an group that is doing online gaming as I haven't seen any sign of hardcore Shadowrun players in Huntsville, AL.

While I did a lot of GMing before, I'd like to get some play-time in before diving head-first into it again.

Most of the character types I've played previously have been Hackers(well... they were deckers then), Riggers, and Ex-Company Men. The last are some strange cross between a Face, Infiltration Specialist, and Weapons Specialist. Often accomplished by large skill sets and losts of skillwires/programs. These and Riggers tend to be my favorite character types.

I'm looking(hoping) for an IRC or Google Wave style game, but would be willing to give a Forum-based game a try. But more than anything I'm still happy to see the SR community still alive and kicking after 15 years =)
