I know this has been asked before but I can't find any of the threads. Are there going to be any more releases this year and if so what are they? The Catalyst website does not have anything new listed as far as I can tell.

The only books I've heard talked about are Vice and Rotten Apple 2.
Edit: Wow, that was fast. And much more than I thought!

Someone please tell me
Running Wild didn't make the list because its already at the printers. This book is desperately needed by those of us who like to play Fantasy Future.

Permit me to treat with scepticism this claim that seven books are going to be released in the next six months.
And what about Running Wild?

Yup, Running Wild as well.

The year is already half over and we haven't even gotten the SR4A hardcopy yet. I'd say that catalyst is having some form of issues with the economy and wouldn't count on anything on that list coming out this year. On the other hand Running Wild is suppose to have had substantial work already done on it. My guess is we 20A around gencon, maybe running wild this year, as for the rest, eventually over the next couple of years.

I think you're going to be pleasantly surprised, then. We've had some pipeline problems, but the log jam is clearing, and things are looking up, both in terms of books and accessories -- like the new Matrix dice we'll have at Origins and available for online sale soon.

I'm very happy to hear that Running Wild is still on the schedule - I'm definitely looking forward to it. But even if Catalyst could release eight new products in the next six months, I don't think they should. It would overwhelm a lot of GMs' bank accounts, and the books would end up competing with each other.

Dawn of the Artifacts? Is that a campaign book?
Dawn of the Artifacts is a 4 part series of fully written adventures (more like
On the Run format than the
Ghost Cartel track format). The first in the series is
Dusk. The second is
Midnight. (Get our clever naming convention?

) The adventures have stats for NPCs, maps (and boy, if you liked the Ghost Cartel maps, all I can say is Sean just gets better and better, as hard as that is to imagine...), statted out security systems; everything you need to run the adventure, minus the players, dice, and caffeinated beverages.

The playtest groups averaged 3 sessions for Dusk, and 4 sessions for Midnight. I'm happy to answer any other questions, if you have more.

I hate lugging the things around too, but I want the first read in Deat TreeTM format. I always buy the PDF/Book Combo. It's amazing how useful the PDFs can be.

As long as Catalyst doesn't go the road Wizards did, what with releasing 3 hardcover books (at least) a month...
There's a reason (a few, actually) that I quit D&D.

SOmehow I suspect there is no danger of that ever happening.
