hey guys! first time on the forum, long time(1st ed) SR player here.
i just had few questions that i couldn't find in the errata or books. maybe im going blind in my old age.

first, exactly what is the seating capacity of the vehicles now? they keep making references to it in arsenal and i just cant find the dreking stat! was this an oversight or something? it keeps coming up because my party is street level and we could only afford one car, that rover SUV in case it matters.

second... hum i seem to have for gotten my second question. oh well, im sure ill remember eventually.

thanks in advance

It's seating capacity is whatever make sense. A small SUV would seat 5 people(or 4 orks), while a larger one or a minivan would seat 6-8.
Faraday

Sportscar 3

How on earth does this work, does the sportcars of 2070:s have a one row of 3 seats?
Usually sportscar either has a back seat, in which case it can fit 4-5 people, or it doesn't and can only seat 2.
Rotbart van Dainig
One in the front, two in the back?

Of course, the two-front seat, one rear bench sport cars today aren't exaclty meant to be used be more than two persons.
Angier
'd say it depends on the car. two seats in front, one in the back / 3 in a row / 1 seat front 2 in the back

most sportscars are classified 2+2 which means 2 humans + 2 dwarfs. there is no way an ork will fit into the backseat of a porsche or aston martin

The cars of the six world are most likely just larger then the ones we have today.
Becouse most of the elves(to say nothing about wakyambi) wouldn't fit into the drivers seat of that porche or aston martin

I'm not really sure about that. I see that only to a quite limited extent. The difficulties the "nonstandard-sized" metatypes have living in a world not built to their size have always been part of Shadowrun. Orks and elves shouldn't have great problems with most human-size cars, but I don't expect manufacturers to adapt their entire product range to the other metatypes. Those aren't simply a big enough part of the market.

Although I'd imagine cars like the BMW 5 Series GT might be popular with well-to-do orks.
hobgoblin
iirc, there is a real life sports car that has a 1+2 seating setup.
Traul
Yes, the McLaren F1.
