First of all, I'd just like to say that this is a shameless bump biggrin.gif

There is currently a short serial production on Wreckamovie.com, based on Shadowrun. It's progress, is, for lack of a better word, stagnant. (actually, that's not bad)
I feel if there was more awareness and people involved, this could turn into something epic which would delight the fans and bring new interest into the game.
Any takers?

Here's the production.

There was also a topic created over in the 'Community Projects' area a while back which started this whole thing off. http://forums.dumpshock.com/index.php?showtopic=31112

Live action, anime, Blender, puppets, claymation? What are you selling? What the hell is Wreckamovie? Introduce me to what you are talking about and magic can happen.

A collaborative production. People contribute whatever they can and want. Right now all we've decided is there'll be a great dragon, so we're making one up. No idea as to format, but personally, I'd prefer live action. You can get the best idea of what we've got by clicking the link to the production up there, then simply make a Wreckamovie account and take a shot. Characters, events, music, logos, whatever you've got.

What kind of music do you guys have in mind? I write orchestrally.

Not true. You have everything published under Creative Commons licensing, as long as you have no intention of seeking a profit or something.

But more on that should be posted in the projects forum.

I don't really have anything to add to this topic--I'm still hoping for a big slam-bang Hollywood version ("With Ed Norton as The Mage... Christina Hendricks as The Stereotypically Beautiful Elf... and Morgan Freeman as the Voice of DunkelGod"). But in terms of what kind of music... I think you could certainly do worse than to listen to "Race: In" by Battles, and maybe let that influence the compositions. The first time I heard this, I thought of Shadowrun. I can't even explain why... other than it vaguely reminds me of the music to Akira...

Your mileage may vary. But in the SR movie that plays in my head? That's the opening tune.

If only.

What's that condition where you hear everything in his voice called?

EDIT: Oh yeah.
