Would like to get back to playing shadowrun 4e. Anyone have any opening or would like to start a new online group?

If you find one, let me know! I'd be interested, as well. The last two times I tried didn't work out so well.

What edition are you two looking at playing? I just picked up the 4th Edition corebook, and was going to be try to put together a campaign within the next 2 or 3 weeks using Fantasy Grounds 2(I have an ultimate license, so you wouldn't need to purchase anything).

I could run something, but I don't have anything as nifty as fantasy grounds, I just run stuff over skype. My games tend to be a somewhat... unique blend of pink mohawk and mirror shade though...

I am been using maptools(free) and skype for a while now and they work great together. I would be up for it.

I've played over Skype, Maptools and Fantasy Grounds, so any of the above works. The bigger limitation is timing -- when is everyone available? Best time for me is on the weekends, but something could potentially be worked out for week nights.

I'm mostly available during the day and early evening, except for monday when I run deathwatch, if I was to run anything I would be most interested in hearing what sort of thematic stuff you all are most interested in.

I can probably get us some extra players from another forum if we need them.

I'd rather we all figure out what exactly is what first, differing play styles are a much bigger problem on skype than face to face, I've found. I'm feeling trusting so I'll leave my skype id here, it is kaelen.reid

On a scale of 1 - 10, 1 being Pink Mohawk and 10 being Ice Cold Professional, I tend to fall around a 6, though forays to the extremes are fine.
I also tend to enjoy being more on the heroic end of things than the struggling to get by, everything is drek, screw everyone, I'm in this for myself. Again, occasional visits into that are fine, just not for the majority of the game.
I prefer having a map and icons of some sort, hence Maptools or similar. At the same time I like voice chat, so Skype, Teamspeak, Ventrillo or something similar.
I tend to play more combat oriented characters and I absolutely suck at being a "face."

I tend to try and keep a balanced approach with more pro feel with moments of pink mohawk frenetic action and I'll look in to Maptools or something similar.

I'm highly highly interested in this game. As for playstyle/theme I'm with Trig, I fall around a 5 or 6. I love both sides, so I tend to be enjoy both. Days I'm available the most are sundays and monday-thursday nights.
I've got about a hundred character concepts in mind and can enjoy playing any role. Though hackers tend to be a personal favorite.

I'll keep that in mind when we figure out a campaign, but fair warning is that I can be a bit unforgiving running matrix stuff.

Im looking for a new SR4 online game. I would prefer PbP but Skype would be ok too (I can play on SomethingAwful.com and Shadowrunonlinepbp.com as well). I have never used Fantasy Grounds.
I have a handful of characters ideas I would like to try out. If anyone gets something going let me know. My Skype name is Johnnytenpins as well.
