Just checking todays new arrivals at ACD, Alliance, and Blackhawk and Rigger 3 Revised is at all of them. That means that it should be hitting good gaming stores by the end of the week.
I've included the relevant stock numbers below, so you can be sure you're getting the new Revised printing and not the FASA printing:

I hope the three days I spent going through that book for errata and layout issues (pieces of equipment run into each other and so on) were worth it.
I think I submitted something like 4 pages of typos and missing paragraph breaks and so on to Fanpro...
I expect no typos!

Perhaps a clarification on that encephalon-activesoft rule that I loved so much in R2?

Does it have feature changes or just bugfixes?

From what I heard a gencon, I think it's going to fix all the errata stuff, some slight streamlining to the vehicle design rules, and pictures! Pictures of all the vehicles. Glorious pictures! Mwa-ha-ha! *ahem* I was always a little miffed about the absence of pictures. I think it's mostly black and white thumbnails (real big pictures are still reserved for those owning the Rigger Black Book, Fields of Fire, etc.) I'm not sure how much the vehicle design is changing. It sounded to me like a slight streamlining, not any major overhauling, but I could be wrong.
As for me? I plan to buy it.

The tank chassis will be on ShadowrunRPG.com - I think it's in Brian's pile of stuff to edit.

He seems to have a lot of stuff in that pile.

I'll be good this time, Pistons, I swear. ^_^;
Is there going to be an R3 Revised forum? If not, where's the proper place for discussion directly relating to it? I'd like to know where to put the Errata thread.

Does it plainly say Rigger 3: Revised on it, or do we really need to check the ISBN and stuff?

The title is Rigger 3 Revised, but I've seen some of the distributor solicitations do not have the title correct - they still have it simply as Rigger 3.

Got it at the store this morning....The title clearly has revised on the cover, but not the spine. Also they forwent the grteen for a blue cover and spine, so you can see a difference. At first glance it looks like more tables and charts inside ( I saw a few really helpful ones I didn't remeber from the first book) Also the art next to every vehicle entry is really nice, plus more discription of each drone and vehicle are really nice. Good job guys!

What errata list was used for Rigger 3 revised? The list of changes for the german Rigger 3?
Were the stats for fuel, economy and acceleration fixed?
Is the really weird "hull factor" fixed (or at least kicked out of the book)?
Are the relations between ship hulls, ship armor and ship weapon damage corrected?
And the final question: Why are the new german vehicles not in the revised version?

And more, I believe. I haven't seen a R3 -> R3R errata yet.

I suspect because there wasn't enough room to add more content and more images; one or the other. Plus, the german vehicles ended up Games Unplugged a month or so before the release of R3R.

So how much of a discount do you get by showing your copy of R3?
You know, like how 7th Sea put out that book of corrections and stuff, and you got it for FREE by showing you owned the originals.
Not a cent???!!!
Somehow , I figured as much.

Remember, FanPro didn't publish Rigger 3; FASA did, in their last days. The story goes like this:
Management: Finish Rigger 3 so we can release it before we close.
Shadowrun Guys: There's no way.
Management: Do it anyway.
Hence FanPro taking the extra time to make all the corrections, instead of just re-printing FASAs book.

So should those of us that already have R3 buy it or will any extra info be on the website or something?

The extra stuff will be on the website. It's at the top of the priority "Get this done now!" list to go up on the website.
