bnc exhale audibly. Why can't I just rest... I meet a techno once in my life and then she's a pain in the ass...
Focus! She's right. The earlier you get outta here, the better. You dont want Wraith and the others die in a vain attempt to rescue you because you were too lazy to warm up the sink, slitch!
"All right, all right, I'll try..."
There's a whole in the ground, so even if I play with the water, I won't make a bathtub out of my prison. So, let's try the simple things first.
bnc gets up with a groan, the stumbles towards the sink. She then turns on the tap as hot as she can (blocking the line of sight between the camera and herself with her body) and washes her hands while the water is still warming up. She then tries to redirect the stream of water towards the resin, using the plastic bowl and/or tablet. She tries to disguise it as good as she can as a kind of cat's lick. As if she'd use the bowl to wash her feet and body.

Eliza displayed an overlay of the Kapuzinerberg as an AR contruct:
<<This is mainly conjecture from different sources, but what we gathered so far is this:
There is an extensive cave system below the hill - created during the return of magic.
The four entrances/exits follow existing tunnels through the stone. Only the northern one is large enough to admit vehicles, but has a multiple gate system and a very thorough inspection of everything that passes through. The West entrance is the main entrance for personell. Most use bicycles or drones to traverse the long tunnel. The southern entrance at the Steingasse is the back entrance, used mostly by the execs in the place because its the shortest tunnel. We have no information on how they move through the tunnel.
The ground level is - as far as we know - mainly administrative, logistic and home to their servers.
Sublevel 1 is offices and their bibliotheca - number crunching, reading, grunt work.
Sublevel 2 is their hands on labs - clinical tests, tech workshops, prototyping and the like.
Sublevel 3 is the top secret part - cell tract, summoning circles, containment.
The whole structure is designed to prevent biological or cybernetic pathogens to reach the surface. In the center of the structure are four elevator shafts. Only one reaches down to sublevel 3.>> Kerstin replied to Wraith:
<<There is nothing too depraved for this man. But I don't think he'd torture her - he'd just start operating on her to further his goals once the deadline has passed.
And yes, I'm prepared to go in alone if bnc is let out at the same time. I can take it.>>Map:

bnc enjoyed for a moment the hot water, but it soon became almost boiling hot. The water running through the sink appeared a second later in the toilet bowl. Steam began to rise as the water continued to run - bnc had to constantly wave her hand in front of the movement sensor to keep it running. The massive metal sink warmed up a bit, but radiated the heat away faster than it received it. Trying to redirect it with the tablet and the cup was not particularly succesful - unless you counted that she now could enter a wet t-shirt contest.
She realized that to heat up the resin she'd have to somehow prevent the metal sink from radiating the heat away so fast.

Swearing under her breath, bnc took off the hospital gown. She didn't believe it to be a good insulation but the only alternative she had - the foam mattress - was glued to the ground. Not only would it be really difficult to remove it from the ground - there was no way a thing like that would go unnoticed. The gown had to do ... or so she hoped.
So bnc pressed the gown at the sink like a blanket. She tries to use the tablet to press the gown against the sink - lest she burns herself and also as a second layer of insulation (for what it's worth). She then again tries to redirect the hot water to the resin.
[ Spoiler ]
I'm not sure whether the description really makes sense as I don't have a clear image of the layout. Is the sink above the toilet so the water drips/runs down to it openly? Or is it directed through a pipe in the wall? Where exactly is the resin part?
If these are things I should know, please tell me. If that's irrelevant anyway, never mind.

It felt like aeons went by during which bnc stood there only covered by very inadequate underware. But finally she felt the sink no longer sticking firm on top of the toilet. Slowly, slowly, like molasses, she managed to move it back and forth. With a sound like ancient chewing gum getting ripped from a shag carpet she managed to lift the heavy piece from the toilet. A hose disconnected and the flow of water stopped.
bnc could see the inards of the toilet tank - The coil of the flow water heater with it's high voltage power supply, as well as some other cables.
Also, she now had a five kilo heavy sink in her hands - certainly heavy enough to shatter the glas panel above her which prevented her from accessing the UDP of the sensor unit.

<< We still have a couple Narcojet gas grenades from Battery, maybe those can be useful to keep casualties at a minimum. Anna has them. Maybe I could take one of those, my armor is sealed, so I could just put it on my armor and trigger it when it makes sense. Also, how about external responses? Will the police interfere? Maybe we need something to keep them busy? Do we have enough explosives available for a quick diversion or two? Do we have enough to make the one tunnel big enough for vehicles inaccessible, so they cannot get out that way? Do we know where the guards have their armory with the heavier stuff? Would be good to prevent them from getting there. >>

<<No bound spirits on guard duty, but strong Watcher constructs. Thanks to the big amount of earth and stone around, there is no easy way for spirits to enter from the astral except through the normal passage ways.
As I mentioned before, there is only one tunnel broad enough for vehicles, which is the one coming from the North. But there are several security gates of which only one can be opened at the same time. Motorcycles would possibly be an option to traverse the tunnels quickly.>>[ Spoiler ]
bnc avoided electrocuting herself as she found a flaw in the wiring of the heating coil. More important, there was a thin data cable running from one side to the other - likely part of a sensor suite inside the toilet.
Extending her arm to its full length and twisting around with her hand to follow the cable, she could barely feel the outline of a familiar shape - a UDP.
Unspooling the datacable from her head and sticking her head nearly all the way down into the open tank, she was able to link them togehter.
Immediately, she was rewarded with a blinking icon - an active matrix connection to a sensor suite with the whole matrix waiting behind it.

The host behind the sensors was a strong one - as bnc scanned it's exterior, she realized that it was an industrial host - slower IC reaction but no direct connection to the rest of the slaved facility once she was inside. It's lowest attribute was Sleaze with a still impressive 8, the Data Processing of 9, Firewall of 10 and a fearsome 11 Attack rating.
Architecturally, it was a Mitsuhama product - lots of Neo-Tokyo influences on style and function.
The sensor allowed her to get an easy MARK on the thing, but after entering it, she would be in quite a lot of danger.

Anna is paranoid and thinks that they are sloppy for missing out on a deck when Anna can get to the other side of town within minutes and assense. Full mages are rare, but cooperations with secret magic research... they should have access. If not to technology. Also happening to meet a technomancer friend that can control the facility seems like the stars themselves have aligned in perfect formation. Any time things feel too good to be true, Anna assumes that they are not true.
Without thinking, she texts bnc one of her sexy pictures in a bikini with the caption >>I can't wait to feel you again. My body is still shivering from the last time.
Rationalizing the deed, later Anna explains to herself that bnc knows that Anna is furious for being electrocuted, and abused and physically in pain because bnc lacked the people skills to buzz her off more gently. (To Anna's view). She expects that the genius decker would put 1+1 together and figure out that Anna is not flirting with her. Not at all, Anna is actually sending a message that is not what it appears to be to indicate to bnc that she suspects that things may not as they appear to be with her story. The sophistication is necessary because as far as Anna is concerned technomancers can break the rules of the matrix, and who knows... maybe the technofriend can read messages to bnc.
