Anyone know what the disposition of Charcoalgrin is? Has this dragon been seen in Shadowrun? If so, by what name? Thanks in advance.

Not yet, but she'd be a great by now if she survived. The Council might have taken actions against her for her activities in Parlainth.

Thanks AH. Once again you prove that you are the true master of ancient lore.

Isn't Charcoalgrin one of the Horror corrupted dragons? If so, she may be the one behind Aztechnology. Then again, my ED knowlege pales in comparison to AH's...

Uh...no. Charcoalgrin was chubby with the Therans of Parlainth, and shacked up there when it reappeared. No Horror Taint, though she did have a tendancy to talk people to death, and flame them for not listening. Sorta like the Draconic Oprah.

i wouldn't know charcoal grin if she opened a talk show on prime time... but that was wrong, AH. that was bad-wrong---badong, as it were.

Draconic Oprah... that's funny.
So AH, I havn't seen anything to hint at Parlainth's return. Am I correct in this? Any ideas as to where it would show up?

I'd think Parlainth would remain ruinous. No doubt one of the many archeological digs in the Ukraine could be it.

Any thoughts to Hestaby being Charcoalgrin?
The personality is a close match.
Can anyone provide a visual description?
(Hestaby is a deep Bronze, Copper coloration)
Editted to mention that Ancient History is right. She wasn't a great during Earthdawn times. But that doesn't mean she couldn't be Hestaby.

Negative on that, ED dragons has her listed as an Adult only. Her name comes from a wide swath of black around her mouth.
That said, she certainly has had time to grow into being a Great.
