Dissonance
So, it's getting to that time of the month where I start thinking about SR concepts. And, well, right now, I'm really enjoying the thought of doing all sorts of evil things with vehicles.

Right now, I'm kind of stuck on two ideas that I find to be particularly delightful and cruel.

1) What's a good damage code for dragging somebody behind your vehicle? I figure it'd be based on terrain modifiers and speed and maybe impact (or half impact) armor.

2) What kind of test would it take to smack said unlucky S.O.B into the side of a building a la Crack the Whip? Handling test with damage equal to 2x successes?

1) I agree with your parameters but hesitate to give such an event a firm damage code. Personally, I think speed is probably your greatest influence in damage, barring something like pulling the unlucky SOB through broken glass, as dragging someone slowly across a road shouldn't do much damage at all, but dragging them at 60 mph should work like a cheese grater against a nice wheel of cheddar.

2) I'd just call it a Vehicle Test and then call it a Ramming Test so that the damage is based on the speed of the unlucky SOB and his or her own body. The building probably doesn't have to make a test, unless you want a more cinematic effect of creating a dent in concrete when the unlucky SOB impacts.
