Description:
Andrew is a human of average size, with a sturdy build. In recent years he has developed a little belly but it is clearly visible that there are some muscles under the fat. His brown hair, sharing it’s color with his eyes, has become gray at the temples.
He has a quiet and strong air about him and is very charismatic.
Most of the time he wears cord suits, tie inclusive and somehow he manages to not look ridicoulus in them.

History:
Born to a middle-class family in Renton, Andrew had a very normal childhood. He graduated high-school with average scores and, following his altruistic nature, became a state-epmloyed social worker.
He spent his days on the streets, trying to help people hat often didn’t want help no matter how much they needed it. What affected him the most during that time was the fate of the kids. He saw mothers sell their kids out to strangers to be able to buy their next hit, he saw fathers physically and sexually abusing their children, he saw all kinds of nasty stuff that imprinted itself in his mind. He couldn’t bear to see those kids being dragged into a swamp of misery without a chance of escape. He wanted to make a difference.
So, at the age of 29, he decided to build a home for street children. Through his connections in the government he manged to get approval for his petition of a state-founded orphanage, and two years later, St. Bernhadine’s Home for Children opened up, with Andrew as director. He’s had this job for over 20 years now and he still sees it as his calling.

Personality:
Andrew is something that is very rare, a truly kind and altruistic person with a strong sense of justice. He treats his proteges with respect and kindness, but also sows a firm hand when necessary. In his orphanage physical punishment is not tolerated and he is very well liked by the children.
He is politically active and is always trying to improve his government connection network to get his orphanage the funds it needs (but of course he never get’s enough).
He is a christitan with strong beliefs but is very tolerant and never preaches to the kids, preferring to lead by example rather than words.

Connection to Tig:
Andrew Greyson is the director of the orphanage in which Tig spend the first 8 years of his life. He took a liking to young boy, often talking with him for hours about every topic imaginable. He became a father figure and a mentor to Tig. They stayed in contact after Tig left the orphanage for Universal Omnitechs training program for awakened kids.
Andrew Greyson thinks Tig died in a magical accident, since that is the official story stated by Universal Omnitech.
Tig really wants to contact him and tell him that he’s still alive but it would be too dangerous, since Oniversal Omnitech knows about Tig’s past, including his connection to Andrew, and could possibly have surveillance on the orphanage director.


Elizabeth Stenton

Description:
Elizabeth Stenton is an ork woman about the same age as Tig. Unusually small and fragile for an ork, she is very beautiful, even by human standards. Long black hair contrasts sharply with her bright green eyes and her tusk are barely noticeable, while her body is every man's dream.
She is always impeccably dressed, usually following the latest fashion trend.

History:
Elizabeth Stenton has spend her whole life at Universal Omnitech. Born in their Seattle enclave she went through the usual corp education. Displaying a strong mind in addition to consderable magical talent, she was put in the same training program for awakend youths as Tig. She finished it with top scores and went on to become a valued member of Universal Omnitechs magical security team, specializing in the magical detection of threats.

Personality:
Elizabeth is an easy-going, fun-loving person who likes all the things typically associated with girls. Fashionable clothes, expensive shoes, exquisite jewelry and cute animals are all things she can get excited over as well as about anything connected to the color pink.
But one should not mistake that side of her for weakness or unprofessional behavior. She takes everything regarding her job very seriously and is an expert in the field of magical detection.
She is loyal to Omnitech since the corp has been the big constant in her whole life, but lately she got some doubts about them. She isn't ready to admit it to herself yet, but her trust in the company is slowly fading away.

Connection to Tig:
Elizabeth Stenton was in the same training program as Tig, back when he was still called Ray, and since they were the same age and had similar character traits, they became very close friends after a while. For a short time it looked as if there could be more between them but then Tig allegedly died in an accident and Elizabeth had to continue her education, banishing the thoughts of Ray to the back of her mind.
Tig often thinks of her and of what could have happened between them had he not udergone SURGE. He has thought about contacting her, but he doesn’t know how she would decide when forced to choose between him and her loyalty to Universal Omnitech.
In addition he is afraid that she would reject him when she sees what he has turned into, even though he doesn’t even admit that fear to himself.

Tig has often tried to find out anything about his family, especially about his mother, who left the hospital right after giving birth to Tig, not even holding her baby once. He has often wondered why his mother abandoned him and it took him a while to get over the feeling that he was somehow responsible for it.
Lacking any clue to her identity, he hasn't been able to get any results on his search so far.

Description:
The Hospital records only held basic information on her appearance. They describe her as a young blonde elf woman with bright blue eyes and delicate features. She came into the hospital in formerly expensive and high-quality clothing which was dirty and torn and she had apparently not been eating enough for a few weeks given her physical condition. She seems to be awakened, as she was ordered special medication for awakened patients by the hospital, but no details are known.
That’s all the information Tig has on her.

Ichigami Sakura

Description:
Sakura is a young japanese woman, with long black hair und brown eyes. Like most asians, she has a slender and delicate frame. She prefers to dress in traditional japanese clothing, mostly kimonos of various styles and colors.

Personality:
Sakura is reserved and polite in her dealings with strangers. She is also a very quiet person and dislikes people who talk excessively.
She is intelligent and often very insightful when asked for her opinion on a problem.
The Shinto religion takes a very high place in her world and she follows the shinto rituals meant to cleanse body and mind acutely and regularly.

History.
Sakura was born to a family that still upheld the old japanese traditions. Her parents died soon after her birth in a car accident and her grandmother took care of her. From her she was also introduced to the world of the kami when her magical talent showed, following the way of the Shinto tradition like her grandmother.
After she finished school, she decided to make her talent her calling and opened up her own small talismonger shop, where she used her magic to create and enchant magical goods.


Sphere of Influence:
Her shop is mostly known in Seattle circles connected to any kind of shamanic tradition. She is interested in all traditions that share similar goals and ideas with her shinto tradition, so she often socializes with traditional shamans as well as druids and followers of the aboriginal or nahualli traditions.

Connection to Tig:
After escaping the Oniversal Omnitech facility Tig is constantly working on improving his magical abilities. He needed contact to the magic community to do that but he had to be careful not to be noticed by his enemies. So he was looking for magic-users who were not interested in corporate politics and reward money.
He heard a lot of good things about Sakura so he cautiosly got in contact with her. Since then he has done business with her a few times and so far she seems to be trustworthy and competent. Though he isn’t a shaman and has his own way of practicing magic, he follows a concept he calls “the inner fire” and he and Sakura discovered quite a few similarities between their views of the world.

Patricia “Hermes” White - (Connection 5, Loyalty 2)

Personality: Frank, teases a lot, and has a foul mouth. But, she’s a compulsive planner, and has a good head on her shoulders. A vibrant, social woman that seems to be able to make herself at home anywhere, and look like she belongs there.
Physical Description: A woman of average build, standing at about 5'10''. Otherwise she's...almost startlingly average. It's almost impossible to physically describe this woman. Her hair is a rather medium brown shade, and she's neither ugly nor beautiful.

A female ork talislegger who does work all over the Americas, usually cycling through different areas as the heat starts to get a little too close for comfort. Given that she’s been established in the shadow community for nearly five years, she should be swimming in nuyen and retired to someplace warm and sunny. For whatever reason, Hermes hasn’t quite retired, and she currently physically resides somewhere near Portland.

Hermes and J.D. have worked together on-and-off for years, now. J.D. is handy for pickups and deliveries into cities, and doesn’t seem to mind travel. And the talislegger is a good source of well-paying, if very illegal, jobs. Hermes is small for an ork, but more than makes up for it in street-smarts and careful planning. Unlike J.D., Hermes actively maintains a web of connections. She knows talismongers, shadowrunners, doc workers, and others from all walks of life all around what used to be the continental Americas. Hell, she even seems to have some friends in Hamburg and other runner havens as well.

Hermes finds J.D.’s act on the cuter side of what up-and-coming shadow-types could do, as opposed to the stupid side. And the ork woman is absolutely certain that J.D.’s persona is an act, and often teases J.D. in a variety of colorful and inconsistent ways ranging from insinuations a little too accurate for comfort to the downright outrageous.


Arthur “Mr. Fix” Kingsley - (Connection 2, Loyalty 1)

Sphere of Influence: Forgers and ID Manufacturers
Personality: Curt, detached, and 100% business.
Physical Description: A troll man, and a moderately handsome one according to the ladies. He keeps himself dressed neatly, even if he's just going out for errands. It's too bad that the permanent frown makes him somewhat unapproachable. He has a pair of horns that curl at the sides of his head like a ram's would.

An ID manufacturer and forger that J.D. has done business with for a couple of years. Apparently he owed the Twins a favor, and ended up repaying it by starting to do business with J.D. After J.D. proved to be professional and quick with payment, Mr. Fix decided to continue working with the courier. He and J.D. seem to have a mutual ‘don’t ask, don’t tell’ agreement regarding their business, personal lives, and origins. But, that seems to be the extent of their relationship. Mr. Fix isn’t interested in making friends with his customers, and J.D. isn’t interested in giving out personal information. So at least the relationship is mutual. Because of this, and J.D.’s habit of being polite, J.D. seems to have earned a minimal amount of politeness in return from Mr. Fix.

J.D. isn’t exactly sure how he goes about getting her the fake SINs and licenses she needs, but quite frankly doesn’t care. Mr. Fix doesn’t seem to know very many people outside of his field of work, but he’s never had a problem getting J.D. a license or some forged paperwork.

Sergei Andreyovitch - (Connection 3 Loyalty 1)
Location: Kiev, Ukrain
Sphere of Influence: International Black-market Suppliers
Personality: Jovial, friendly and flamboyant.
Physical Description: A rather small, almost effeminate man with dark hair and a thin mustache. He always wears old Soviet style hats, which vary depending on the weather, in addition to the old uniforms. He has big, open gestures and intense facial expressions.

A Russian arms dealer with a penchant for wearing ermine coats over old Soviet uniforms. While J.D. has little use for such things as rocket launchers and grenades, the courier has plenty of use for motorcycle parts and accessories that are, shall we say, a little on the illegal side. J.D. knows him through Hermes, and has even done a little smuggling for Sergei in the past year.

It’s become evident that, given a few weeks, or even a month, he’ll find exactly what the courier has in mind. But, if time is limited, Sergei can certainly find something within 24 hours. Of course, it might be a little…different than what J.D. had in mind. Sometimes the item in question is a useless relic from the early 2020s. Sometimes it’s something so horribly dangerous and illegal that the courier can hardly pay Sergei to take it away fast enough.

Sergei is always, always friendly and jovial and has an excellent sense of humor. As long as J.D. continues to be a non-threat to the Russian’s business, things will likely remain rosy between these two.

Marcus “Torque” Pierce - (Connection 1 Loyalty 2)

Sphere of Influence: Seattle go-gangers and gear heads
Personality: Abrasive, hot-headed and frank.
Physical Description: A man in his early thirties covered in hair, muscles, and usually about five different layers of grime. He reeks of tobacco smoke and motor oil. His sandy brown hair is almost always buzzed, and there seems to be a permanent five-o-clock shadow on his face and neck. Marcus is a very bulky, muscle-bound man who moves slowly on one bad knee. He dresses primarily in jump suits of bright orange or dark, navy blue.

Torque is a magician with auto mechanics. When he works on a car or a motorcycle, it’s like watching poetry in motion, like art. But, then Torque opens his mouth, and everything turns into a train wreck. J.D. had the dubious pleasure of meeting Torque when she attempted to deliver some new tools to the mechanic. She found out quickly enough why practically no one would agree to come within a hundred feet of Torque. Descriptors like chronically offensive, filth-spewing degenerate, and huge jerk come to mind.

J.D. puts up with Torque because he does amazing things to motorcycles. Sometimes she has to wait on repairs because he’s recovering from the knife-fight he started the previous night. But, he’s also the only mechanic that conveniently forgets to ask any sort of questions. Torque puts up with J.D. and dials himself down to 95% rudeness for J.D. because the courier is the only person in a five-mile radius that will deliver take-out to his workshop. That, and 'he' pays well.

Dr. Elliot Fullbright

Physical Description:
Average in height, and putting on a few extra pounds in his age. His hair used to be a dark brown, but it has greyed almost completely. Dr. Fullbright's eyes have been replaced with obvious cybereyes equipped with a handful of vision augmentations. He wears slacks and plain button-down shirts in neutral colors.

History:
He grew up in London, the apple of his parents’ eye and perfect first son—much to the chagrin of his younger brothers. Elliot was classically brilliant, if withdrawn and uninterested in other people. He spent two decades collecting degrees: Bachelors in Biology and Chemistry, a Masters in genetics, and then a PhD in the same, all the while doing research for Cross Applied Technologies. In 2055, Universal Omnitech hired a team of shadowrunners to acquire Dr. Fullbright for their cloning projects, and Dr. Fullbright was assigned to test M992, among other subjects. He was separated from his family during the extraction, which turned him into a rather cold, detached person on the border of constant depression. His completely detached manner is part of the reason why J.D. did not learn facial expressions in a normal manner.

Dr. Jean Teller

Physical Description:
Lean, almost drawn, Jean Teller has the body of someone who honestly cares more about control and discipline than having a good time. There is a bare minimum of feminine softness about her, the rest replaced by lean muscle of someone who exercises away their frustrations. Her clothing always seems sterile, pressed, and professional. Dr. Teller's shoulder-length brown hair is always pulled back in a bun or tail at the base of her neck. Her eyes are light brown.

History:
Jean Teller was born rigid, uptight, and utterly meticulous. She graduated high school three years early, heading straight into a Universal Omnitech sponsored scholarship program. Her academic record, naturally, was utterly perfect. Jean made her way into leadership roles in several science-related clubs, and became well-liked by her peers. After earning her PhD in biomedical engineering, Jean quickly found herself working for the same corporation that sponsored her education. Soon after that, Jean found herself taking over some of Dr. Fullbright’s work—including subject M992. Jean’s relationship with Dr. Briscoll is a polite, professional rivalry that sometimes outright borders on animosity—if only because Dr. Teller hates a loss of control and sharing the proverbial place in the sun more than anything else. And while she is generally cagey and intelligent, she has an unfortunate blind spot when it comes to being subtly manipulated by others--including M992 in one instance.

Elise Madison

Physical Description:
A once pretty woman who has not been treated kindly by age. Elise already suffers from joint pain caused by childhood injuries left to complicate and heal incorrectly. Her hair is a curly auburn, and her eyes are a warm brown complimented by a splash of freckles across her nose. She tries to dress as nicely as she can when in public, but often wears a pair of sweats around the house for the sake of convenience.

History:
Elise was born into a cycle of poverty in the middle of urban Seattle, one of four children with four different fathers and an uneducated mother who was too busy working to ever see her children. Elise herself was never educated, but clawed her way into a slightly better situation in early adulthood through sheer tenacity, patience, and more than a little luck. Even so, she remains an uneducated housewife to a dock worker, effectively raising three children by herself. She first met J.D. shortly after the clone was extracted from Universal Omnitech. And while Elise found J.D. to be an odd person, the older woman assumed that J.D. came from a broken or abusive home situation and never considered the wilder possibilities. Elise also, rightly, assumed that Tiger had a hand in helping J.D. out of whatever situation she had been previously. She lived in the same building as J.D., often inviting J.D. over for meals and trying to teach the young woman how to interact with others in some semblance of normalcy. Elise only knows J.D. under the name of 'Em'.

Maria Bartlett

Physical Description:
Tall, wiry and almost tom-boyish. Maria a striking woman with warm, caramel colored skin and dark eyes that constantly seem to suggest an ‘I see what you did there.’

Relationship to J.D.:
Maria believes in following her gut. And her gut likes to tell her that there is something awfully suspicious about this J.D. character. She’s gotten J.D. searched a handful of times, but without anything coming of it. Well, aside from the snide comments from her fellow officers about her ‘preoccupation’. In the last year or so, Officer Bartlett has had to ease up on J.D. considerably, especially since J.D. has never actually been caught doing anything illegal. But, that doesn’t stop Maria’s innate suspicions about the courier.

Yusuke Imahara

Physical Description:
Average in height and build, if a little on the plump side. Although, that seems to be baby fat that just refuses to leave rather than a junk-food-induced gut. He shows a strong preference for science-related graphic T-shirts and shorts, regardless of the season.

Relationship to J.D.:
Following the J.D. myth is one of his numerous hobbies. J.D. has delivered take-out to Yusuke’s dormitory floor exactly once, which piqued the young man’s interest in some of the rumors he had been hearing around the Matrix. He has a small collection of J.D.-related information, including a metric fuck-ton of contradictory rumors surrounding the courier. He’s too timid, and has enough common sense to prevent him from trolling around for information from go-gangers in the meat. But, every once in a while, he does go on a little data hunt. His interest in J.D. is purely based on amusement and curiosity, and Star Craft III takes priority.

"Cairo"

Physical Description:
Big for an ork, and covered scars from just about any injury imaginable. If not for his size, Cairo could probably pass for a human. In fact, he'd be pretty plain and 'average' looking if not for his size and the fact that he looks like he was painted with a knife. His skin is a dusky brown, highlighting whatever outrageous color his fiberoptic hair is currently displaying.

Relationship to J.D.:
He used to give J.D. a reasonable amount of trouble, especially when the courier was fresh on the scene. By now, the ork seems to have decided that J.D. is cool enough to hang around with occasionally and invite to parties. While J.D. is obviously a smoothie, Cairo thinks that the courier has the stones to make up for it. The go-ganger can't quite put his finger on why he, or his ganger friends, are drawn to J.D. He just seems like a really likable guy.

Haniel (3/3): A Free Spirit who has banded together more of its kind to form the Elohim – a magical society devoted to the welfare of metahumanity. He was the former ally spirit of a Hasidic Rabbi who Awakened and was eventually murdered by someone in organized crime. The Rabbi was working to clean up the neighborhood where she lived and was becoming a serious threat to their drug and flesh trade. Just before dying the Rabbi released Haniel and pleaded with him to continue her work. He has inherited much of his creator’s personality – a need to guide others to the wisdom of divinity through their actions. Haniel has worked ceaselessly to gather more of his kind together and work to help metahumanity reach it’s full potential. He helps newly freed spirits make their way in the world and offers help in learning more about their new state of existence. He approached Priye after watching her assist a lone woman against an assault from a mugger. He has tried to help her learn the ways of Elohim encouraging her to accept charges and look after them. He appears as an elderly Jewish man dressed in traditional Hasidic clothing.

Netzach (6/3): An A.I. created by the technomancer sister to her own creator. This entity moves through the electronic world helping others when it can. It sees Priye as the closest thing to family it has. It has helped her get by in the world and looks out for her erasing any records that spring up about her in the matrix. They first met when she was freed and was struggling to find a place to recover from the experience. It guided her to an old modified storage unit once used by a shadowrunner team that was recently killed in a confrontation with a local corporation security team. It has worked to help her and others who have fallen through the cracks find a way to live and improve their lives. It helps Priye by handling all the matrix aspects of her new life. It still struggles to master human nuances in speech and behavior when dealing with other sentient beings. It still speaks like a code language or strings of commands.

Jodie Eaton: A 4-year-old Elf girl living in Sydney, Australia with her parents – a pair of researchers who study mana storms and phenomena in the astral. She is a child prodigy gifted with musical ability and quite brilliant but somewhat unstable. Her parents are unaware of the mental instability and Priye is working to help her maintain her fragile sense of sanity. She hopes she can find a way to alert her parents to the problem without revealing her involvement.

Adam Wall: This 23-year-old Changeling man lives with his brother Mark in Riverside, California. A struggling artist, who seeks a way to gain financial independence from his family through his simsense work. His work focuses on building bridges between diverse communities in the LA region – hoping he can work to break down stereotypes and get people to truly walk in another’s shoes. She works to find him sources of funding and keep him away from the less than savory elements his brother associates with and their lure of easy money.

Becky Sangha: A single 34-year-old Human mother living in New York City, New York with three adopted children Niki (9-year-old), Deisha (4-year-old) and Lunden (3-week-old). She works as an independent filmmaker who works to expose the plight of the SINless in corporate controlled areas. Priye is trying to keep her from being homeless and a victim of the very world she seeks to help. She runs interference with the local gang to keep Becky safe and her home secure from violence.

Dave Muir: This 53-year-old Troll widower who lives in Seattle, Washington. He has taught in a free school for the Orc Underground for the last 30 years. He has struggled to keep Orcs and Trolls in school and moving on to higher forms of education. He has only managed to get less than a dozen of his students through college to completed degrees. Priye tries to make his last few years as comfortable as possible – visiting him and making sure he knows at least one being cares about his passing.

Emily Seah: A 18-year-old Human woman living in Tokyo, Japan – she works as an entry level data analyst with Mistuhama. She possesses a keen analytical mind with a talent for data sortilage. She is unaware of the interest a shadowunner team has taken in her and is trying to set her up to a prime candidate for extraction and sale to another corporation. They are waging a war of opinion – trying to reveal the darker side of Mistuhmama’s business. Priye is trying to keep her from being manipulated into making this decision.

Joseph Warren: This 29-year-old Dwarf man who lives in Normandy, France – a professor of law and ethics who has spoken out on several occasions on the need to recognize all sapient life as citizens of the 6th World. Priye works with him to show him the depth and diversity of life in the world. She searches for sapient beings willing to talk with him and help him in his crusade to get them seen as a full fledged members of society.

Lady Lavender (Fixer): Seattle’s fixer extraordinaire (5’05”, Dryad, appears 28 years old but will never tell, red hair and hazel eyes) if it exists and you have the nuyen then the Lady can find it for you. She became Krsnik’s go-to-gadget girl when he dropped a rape gang who decided to turn the dryad into their personal doxie (although she was well-prepared to decimate them, she thought it adorable that someone actually came to her rescue). She operates out of a flower shop (both generate money, but the gardening is more of her hobby), with her fixer section in the basement. A savvy seductress with a flare for the dramatic, she brags that she has roots throughout the world, which she routinely proves to Krsnik whenever he finds himself in a jam. She appears to genuinely care about Seattle’s self-proclaimed protector-and has gone out of her way to save him on occasion-but she likes living far too much to sacrifice herself even for her favorite friend/client.

Solomon Greer (Street Doc): A retired doctor who is jaded with humanity (5’11”, Jewish, 63 years old, gray hair and brown eyes). He used to work at the free clinic with Marcus Emerson, but left after he saw that most of his patients were burned out druggies or gang-bangers. He still has his connections and licenses just in case someone needs help. Marcus referred Krsnik to Solomon, thinking that the retired doctor would approve of Krsnik’s campaign against crime. Solomon would never admit it, but he finds inspiration in Krsnik’s good-hearted nature (even if it is boneheaded and ultimately self-destructive). He operates out of his home in Seattle.

“Geoffrey” (ID Manufacturer): A mysterious all-business Matrix entity, if you can think it then “it” can hack it (information unknown). “Geoffrey” is a premier hacker who specializes in forging licenses and identities. “Geoffrey” is one of Lady Lavender’s major contacts, and she is responsible for arranging a Matrix meeting between Krsnik and “Geoffrey.” “Geoffrey” asked Krsnik to look into some people that were close to “it” (in truth, it was more of a test to see if Krsnik could handle being sent against some of the most violent gangs in Seattle). When Krsnik passed with flying colors, “Geoffrey” decided that Krsnik was worth helping (and Lady Lavender also knows some dirt on “Geoffrey” that could make its life very difficult if it crossed her).

Alojz and Brina Ceh (deceased): Aleksander’s parents (Alojz-5’11”, Slovenian, 38 years old at TOD, brown hair and blue eyes; Brina-5’09”, Slovenian, 37 years old at TOD, blond hair and hazel eyes). They met each other while working as midlevel scientists for AresSpace’s Ljubljana branch. They moved to the UCAS in 2043 when Ares transferred them to Seattle, one year before Aleksander was born. They made sure that their son understood traditional Slovenian culture and history, and introduced him to the Krsnik stories. They were killed in 2055 in a mysterious accident while working for AresSpace, leaving Aleksander to be raised by a legal guardian. Their life insurance policies and pension also are the source of Aleksander’s trust fund.

The Emerson Family: The first people Aleksander rescued as Krsnik, who in turn saved him after he was mortally wounded during the rescue attempt. Marcus Emerson (6’0”, African American, 40 years old, shaved head and brown eyes) works as a physician at a free clinic in Seattle. His wife, Martha Emerson (African American, 5’9”, 37 years old, long black hair and brown eyes), is a geneticist for Seattle’s Pensodyne branch, a subsidiary of Evo. Their son, Darius (African American, 5’8”, 13 years old, shaved head and brown eyes) is currently attending junior high. The Emersons still live in Seattle, and Aleksander meets with Marcus every month to check in on them. Marcus has also noticed that a certain “Alex Dvorak” (Krsnik’s fake SIN name) has made regular monthly donations to his free clinic.

Radix Kane: A Seattle beat-cop who likes Krsnik’s style (6’5”, Ork, 37 years old, black hair and brown eyes). Krsnik saved him from a gang shootout in 2071, and rather than turn his savior in for owning and operating several forbidden items decided to let the hero go. They have run into each other every so often around Seattle, and Radix will sometimes pass on a tip concerning new criminal elements to Krsnik with the hope that someone outside of the system can shut them down. While frustrated with the current state of the world, Radix still has hope that humanity and metahumanity can return to civilization.

Mad Vlad Kirschwasser: A wetwork specializing shadowrunner whose path keeps crossing with Krsnik’s (3’11”, Dwarf, 34 years old, black hair and brown eyes). If there is nuyen in it, Mad Vlad will do it (especially if “it” involves fragging a target and several bystanders using a copious amount of explosives). He eschews the more exact weapons for explosives (quote: “Nowadays, dead don’t mean shit unless your mark looks like shit.”), and used to be Seattle’s go-to guy for eliminating an bothersome element. However, Mad Vlad’s reputation has taken a hit since Krsnik started stymieing his assassination attempts by clearing out marks and innocent bystanders alike. Normally a cool customer, he’s been known to go berserk whenever Krsnik is even implied by someone. If he had the nuyen (or the opportunity), he’d do whatever it took to take Krsnik out of the picture permanently…

“Old Joe”: An enigmatic homeless man who always turns out to be more than he ought to be (5’8”, Latino, appears 60+ years old but never gives a straight answer, gray hair and brown eyes). He wanders the streets collecting junk in his busted shopping cart, but is quick to deploy a useful gadget when the going gets tough. A keenly intelligent mind that is often in tune to the word on the street as well as the global gossip, Old Joe is known to offer a few cryptic clues on upcoming events if the mood strikes him. He has given Krsnik a tip or two on occasion, but seems ambivalent to the crime fighter’s crusade against injustice. As far as anyone can tell, something happened that caused Old Joe to reject the world, but he never offers anything to shed light on his past.

Burner was a spoiled Dwarf growing up on the East coast. He went to the best colleges, got business degrees and was quickly scooped up by a prominent corp (probably Ares, but I am still catching myself up on flavor to see if another corp would be more appropriate to the campaign). His natural charm quickly took up the ladder into customer service and public relations. The company spent some money on him to increase his charm.

A few surgeries and psych tests later they realized that this guy would be perfect for their "Chicago Fund". Effectively he was then moved into shadow assets and became a Mr. J, to further him in this business he got still more augments and combat training enough to hold his own should teams of betrayed or pissed off runners came looking for him. He worked in this capacity for a number of years and began to learn things well beyond his clearance level.

As time passed, he grew more and more dissatisfied with the corporate life. Not just of his own corp, but of the despicable deeds done throughout the higher echelons of society. He decided it was time to burn his bridges and go rogue. He disappeared on the streets and has likely been lying low for a year or two by the time the actual adventure starts up.

Freddy "Humble" Stevens, Seattle Fixer.
Career: A middle of the road fixer who specializes in arranging meets between AA corps and street level runners. He has a mediocre reputation among runner's that know him for being too greedy to turn down a job. He has gotten more than his share of employees killed in suicidal runs.
Description & History: An orc full of false bravado, Humble Freddy worked his way up through the mob to make his way into 'running. Nobody is quite sure how he survived or made the contacts to become as well connected a fixer as he is. He knows the up-and-comers on the street and he knows who in the corp is looking for work. He has a tendency to brag and get carried away with tales of past glory, but if you can keep him grounded and he respects your work, he'll do right by you.

Hasty, UCAS Fixer.
Career: This man seems to "know a guy" in every city. Lost in Seattle? He's got your back. Need a car in Boston? Hasty knows just the place. Hell, you need immediate evac to or from Chicago? Hasty has people already coming to pick you up. Hasty knows everyone, it just seems that nobody knows Hasty.
Description & History: The true nature of the man is only known to a few, but he definitely pre-dates all of the youngbloods on the street. They say he is a relic from the wired days and that he was hitting the streets when the big D was still in power. Whatever the true story is, Hasty isn't saying. What is apparent, however, is that he is a middle aged human. He never seems surprised by anything, and he always seems to have a plan to solve your problem before you are done describing it. He talks a mile a minute, but somehow never seems to waste a word. His sphere of influence is shockingly huge, but his name recognition is shockingly low.

"Tubs" Filibuster, Pac-Rim Smuggler.
Career: Specializing in the LA to Seattle route, Tubs owns his private VTOL and is plenty willing to take on passengers, no questions asked. His service is a little expensive, but he makes up for it with expert flying skills. He knows his route like the back of his hand. On top of this, he is fairly well connected with many smugglers on the pacific rim. If you are looking for a place a little more exotic, Tubs can probably find someone headed that direction.
Description & History: This dwarf always seems calm. Like he is sizing you up, deciding just how much you are worth to him, or anyone who might be chasing him. He has no love lost with the corps or with any organized crime outfit, but he knows that their money is good and is generally willing to work with them. His cold and calculating demeanor make him tough to get along with, on top of this he makes for terrible conversation when it is just you and he in his thunderbird, Bessie.

Sammy Varnsen, Identity Forger.
Career: He does one thing, but he does it well. He makes SINs. He doesn't take old SINs, he doesn't modify existing SINs. He makes them. Give Sammy an ID pack (race, gender, blood type, etc.) and he will have a full ID forwarded to you lickity-split. He prefers to make works of art as far as SINs go, but is willing to make cheap knock-offs from time to time if he is getting tight on nuyen.
Description & History: Sammy is based out of Chicago. He rarely, if ever, meets his customers face to face. They send him data and cred, he sends them their brand new you. He is an anarchist working with the ABC who thinks that everybody deserves their right to privacy. This goes double for Varnsen himself, so don't be asking any personal questions, keep it to business.

Rebecca Taylor, Universal Omnitech Financier.
Career: A financier from the "Chicago Fund". Ironically, she is actually in charge of money, whereas everyone else from that division is simply involved in shadow ops. She is typically tight-lipped, unless she has a reason to do business with you. If you can get her to talk however, she knows the inner machinations of U-O, especially when it comes to the ups and downs of their shadow work.
Description & History: She is a beautiful woman and seems to be getting more beautiful all the time. Perhaps this is because she is, she is constantly getting new biosculpting and cosmetic enhancements from the discretionary funds.. Complimenting her newest figure is the quickest way into her heart. She is Burner's last tenuous link to Universal Omnitech, but he trusts her to keep his secrets. After all, if she doesn't, there are plenty of questionable "withdrawals" that can be revealed to corporate.

Dr, Josephine Huppler, PhD, Arcanist Research.
A not unattractive woman who is responsible for all sorts of disturbing research. She operates out of a secret research laboratory on the outskirts of Seattle. Her projects are neither the most anticipated nor the best funded and she knows it. She is constantly attempting to prove her theories and herself, but is constantly forced to cut corners due to her lack of funding. Perhaps these failures will eventually catch up with her and get her ejected from the facility. Perhaps she will be forced to take her research into her own hands, or seek vengeance on those that escaped from her labs.

Wingus and Dingus, Professional Bodyguards.
William Smith, elf, and Douglas Smith, orc (no relation) have been a paired group of bodyguards for almost a decade. Both of them are wired to the gills and both of them know how to follow orders explicitly, without the need for individual thought. For the most part, they could be considered your standard corporate goons. They tend to work security for Johnson's or other high investment employees who may be exposing themselves to 'dangerous elements'. Burner worked with them quite a bit when he was a Johnson. In fact, he even gave them their nicknames. They have never told Burner whether they appreciated that action. Despite their previous relationship, Burner hasn't seen the duo in quite some time. Burner destroyed those bridges when he fled the company, and he has certainly never looked back to wonder what this pair is up to.

Hogarth "Iceman" Durango, Mr. Johnson.
Another member of the "Chicago Fund", this elven Johnson works the same job that Burner used to. When both Iceman and Burner were on the job they had a friendly competition amongst one another. This competition has stretched back to the beginning of their careers as PR men for UO. Back when Burner cared for his company, he was always annoyed that Iceman seemed to be better at it all. The elf seemed naturally suited for a variety of tasks. From manipulation to firearms, the elf always seemed to be on higher ground than Burner. But, while Burner gained a sense of right and wrong, Iceman pretty much sold out fully. He does whichever job pays the most, no matter how unseemly.
