This link was sent to me by our Deadlands GM, who pointed out how we have created a similar situation in the game. With one of our players having designed some sort of UBER GhostRock bomb. Not that my character lets such things get into her purdy head.

Though about a television show, the link reads like most complaints asking for more "realistic and expected plots and plot mechanisms" in games.
Rant about some program called WWII

This reminds me that I want more fantastic and less mundane in my games. I , for one, totally think that plot was feasible.

/some of the above is serious

/// some is sad commentary about sad things

brillant. nice find.

The rant was hilarious. But it is no secret that truth is stranger than fiction. I remember how after 9/11 everyone I knew was saying how if someone had written about it in a thriller novel nobody would have taken the novel seriously.

I recall Tom Clancy's novel Debt of Honor had a suicide jumbo jet strike on the Capitol building. That particular novel was released in '94.

well ol' tom have written enough books that one or more must hit real life topics to some degree or other by pure probability.
