I am experiencing a malfunction in the text input box. My mouse doesn't seem to be able to move the cursor (which I can't see) or select text for editing or highlighting. I have been in this state before, but clicking on the 'remove formatting' button usually resets everything.

Any ideas?

EDIT: In Quick Edit mode, the mouse and cursor arrows work fine.

OK, this is amazing. I can PM no problem, either. This latest version of Firefox (3.6.9) only has trouble in the Full Edit mode while replying to a thread. Everywhere else I've tried, it works fine.

For what it's worth, I'm using Firefox, also, and I've got no problem. Dunno if that helps any, but it's all I can say. wink.gif

I've used Firefox for years here, no problem. Then my Windows died, and I had to replace Firefox after reinstalling Windows. I downloaded the latest, and this oddity came with it.

Zyerne figured it out. Simply change the text mode with the button at the top right. Now why didn't I think of that?

It changes from rich text to standard, so the text isn't WYSIWYG, but at least I can place the cursor to edit!

Hey! And then when I switch back to rich, it works too! Maybe I will only have to do it once. Isn't the world of computers fascinating, kids?

EDIT: Nope. Gotta do it every time. *sigh*
